We believe the best way to experience a city is on a lightweight and comfortable city bike. We believe riding in smaller groups and at a slower pace creates a more intimate and memorable experience. We believe a friendly local guide will give you the best insider tips and recommendations for authentic, off the beaten path sites AND ... we believe wearing a walkie-talkie and headset keeps you safe and informed during the ride. Excellent tour... not much more to say. Great group of 10 people to share the experience with, matched with an enthusiastic guide in Nick. Couldn't think of a better way to experience an area than this. Well put together tour, informative and well run business. Thank you so much guys for the experience. I can't say enough about the experience my daughters and their friends had with Noni as their guide! Noni planned the most perfect day touring Brooklyn and all the little spots featured in the show Girls! She was the most amazing tour guide and made the girls feel like they were the only focus of her day! Thanks for a... More

I am not sure what else I can add to the previous superlative reviews. You will not be disappointed. It is helpful to have some comfort on a bicycle on trafficked roads,,, but wrv were well looked after nonetheless....interesting sights, iconic NYC views, good food/coffee stops...I hope they expand to other areas of the borough.

The bike tour is wonderful. A great way to see Brooklyn - up close and personal. We had 10 people in our group, the bikes were easy to ride, Nick our guide was excellent, lots of fun and handsome. The tour was slow paced, the stops at Best Pizza delicious and the Brooklyn Roasting Company for late afternoon coffee -... More

My boyfriend and I are long term residents of NYC but decided to go on the Classic Manhattan Tour to discover new bike routes in the city, some city gems and enjoy a great day out. Well this tour definitely ticked all the boxes - it was so nice to ride around the city and follow an experienced safe tour... More

This was a brilliant day spent doing something different to walking round. The bikes were new and good quality although getting used to back pedalling for brakes took some getting used to. Noni was an excellent guide and was so welcoming and friendly. Their new site is only 2 minutes walk from Hewes Street subway station which made it all... More

As inexperienced bikers and being new to Brooklyn, Nick, our guide, did an awesome job in shepherding us around parts of Brooklyn we would never have seen otherwise. Using walkie -talkies he gave an interesting sociological and historical account of the city. There were 9 adults in the overall group spread across sub groups from Australia, Belgium and England. Nick... More

Hola all! I had the pleasure of riding Brooklyn with "Get Up and Ride Bike Tours" this past week. When we arrived our bikes were waiting for us with a post it note on the seat with our name on it. We were then outfitted with an ear piece and helmet and off we went (a group of 9 of... More

This was, by far, the highlight of my one week trip to NYC! I came to the city for a Bjork concert but these bike tours were much more fun! The Manhattan tour was especially rewarding. Saw so many iconic areas as well as some real gems that you have never heard of. The speak-easy was super cool! Being on... More

Awesome, simple as that. You can not ask for a better tour of Brooklyn or a better guide. It far succeeded our expectations, and the five hours didnt even seem that long despite bad weather.
