The tours start at McCarren Park on the corner of North 12th and Bedford Ave and make their way through Greenpoint, Williamsburg, Downtown Brooklyn, Brooklyn Heights and DUMBO. Making frequent stops along the way our tours showcase local art, beautiful parks, interesting history and great food. We make stops at places like the Brooklyn Navy Yard, The Dekalb Market and the Promenade and conclude with a ferry ride on the East River back to Williamsburg. Our tours include a bike rental and unlike traditional bike tour/rental companies, Get Up & Ride's bicycles were chosen with comfort in mind. The Dutch-style urban bicycles are beautifully designed, lightweight and reliable. Join us on our next great tour and see why Brooklyn is quickly becoming NYC's most popular borough!!neighborhoods. « less

We had a fantastic bike tour with Catalina on our Classic Brooklyn bike tour. The bike tour is mainly flat and they use comfortable Cruiser bikes; you hear your guide with walkie talkies and ear pieces. You bike through several different neighborhoods, stopping for fantastic pizza, photo opportunities, and for coffee at the end. Highlights included a large rooftop garden... More

What an amazing way to explore Brooklyn and all the different areas that make up Brooklyn. Firstly, let me say that even though this tour was advertised as Intermediate, anyone with a basic level of fitness could do it - ie if you can walk up one flight of stairs then you are good to go. The Classic tour was... More

Despite some unseasonably warm weather (which made for warm riding) our guide was quick witted, knowledgeable and articulate in explaining the various features, points of interest and curios of the neighbourhoods we cruised through. Some more time enjoying the cuisine would have been excellent, but despite the pace being pretty frenetic we managed to get everything seen and enjoyed without... More

My 6 friends and I took the "Brunch Bites" tour yesterday on a girls weekend to Brooklyn from Philly. Nonni the tour guide was wonderful, very outgoing and had lots of great facts about the areas we visited. Was not expecting it to be as informative as it was. Ride was all flat and on bike lanes around williamsburg and... More

This was a fun trip across a number of sections of Brooklyn, an area of New York City, largely unknown to me. I took the Classic Tour, some 18 miles of riding but with a number of interesting stops along the way. Nick, our leader, was super! He is professional, knowledgeable and fun to be with. You can tell he... More

My wife and I enjoyed an amazing experience with Felipe from Get Up and Ride. We totally enjoyed the informative anpd enthusiastic commentary regarding history and facts on Brooklyn & NYC. At all times our safety was considered and we saw many interesting areas from a different perspective. I would highly recommend this tour as you will learn a Brooklyn... More

I was on the Brunch tour with a couple of friends from Sweden this past Saturday. Our guide Noni was absolutely brilliant!! We loved the tour and my friends said that this tour was the highlight of their trip to NYC! Our guide Noni was very helpful setting us up, explained clearly what to expect on the tour and off... I also went on the same Sunday brunch tour (same day) with "overpriced tour"...but disagree. A great ride around Brooklyn with interesting information. Love that we had walkie talkies so could listen to the tour guide as we biked (didn't have to stop and listen). Our tour guide was fabulous....Noni....very enthusiastic and friendly along with knowledgeable. saw a nice sampling... More

If you want to waste your money on an overpriced bike ride with terrible food, take the Get Up and Ride Bike Brunch Tour. If it is rated #1 on trip advisor, it is only because there are no competitors. They advertise a "brunch tour" for $68. This consisted of one lukewarm cup of coffee one hour into the ride.... More

Here are the facts: 1) Our Brunch Bites Bike Tour is a bicycle tour that incorporates stops for food, not strictly a food tour. The 3.5 hour bike tour incorporates stops at trendy local eateries so that our guests can get to know the neighborhood (and each other) better. The $65 price includes a bike rental, tour guide, walkie-talkie and... More

Thanks to Phillipe we had a great tour of the different areas of Brooklyn. Through the Polish, Hasidic Jew, Brown Stones, Parks, Hispanic areas, coupled with background and information about the history and change that has and is happening. We happened to have glorious weather as well. Thanks again Phillipe
