I grew up in Williamsburg, so I was very curious to see this "new" attraction. It's a lot of fun. The beer is good, with lots of variety. It's also relatively inexpensive for NYC. The "tour" is more of a lecture, but it's filled with fascinating information. If you're in the neighborhood, don't miss this one. More

My husband, friends and I took a trip out to Brooklyn to tour the brewery. It was good fun, the guides were informative. You can buy wooden tokens at the start of the tour to purchase beer at the bar at the end. There's no food, but they allow you to bring in your own to sit at the picnic... More

We made the trek all the way to find the Brooklyn Brewery but it was closed! It didn't look like it would be open for a while. It also didn't look that big. The surrounding area was quite dodgy too (we were approached by drunks asking for money). Wouldn't go back. More

This is a lovely brewery in a wonderful neighborhood. The tour is not your normal brewery tour-as it is a small brewery and they really stress the different types of beer they make, how they are made and of course samples if you choose, versus large breweries where you are walking around watching a bunch of machines make beer. The... More

This brewery tour was fun and interesting, and the beer is delicious; I am definitely a convert. The staff are very friendly and entertaining, telling great tales about the history of each beer and of the brewery. The one thing that I didn't figure out until I arrived is that there isn't a bar to sit in while you wait... More

GO, GO, GO, if you can. We enjoyed our rainy saturday afternoon here. We got in early afternoon about 2 and it was busy. Staff is very pleasant and accommodating. BEER SELECTION IS GREAT!!! We left around 5 and the place was packed and I mean packed. There was a waiting line outside of about 75 people waiting to get... More

We intended going to the brewery on our first visit in August last year but Hurricane Irene stopped that, this time we were determined to go there. We went on the Sunday and arrived early. The welcome from the staff in the little souvenir shop was brilliant in particular MONSTER the cat who must be the best meeter and greeter... More
