This promenade is the best. I just love it. Every since my boy was small we would walk down to the Brooklyn Heights Promenade. It is so lovely and everyone there is so nice. It makes you feel good. Especially in the Summer months. You can cool off as there is always a nice breeze, watch the boats, and just... More

This is a must-stop whether you are a local or a visitor. The views of the water, Lower Manhattan, area bridges and even the Statue of Liberty are amazing. The people watching is a lot of fun. There is plenty of room to roam and explore the little park areas and pedestrian paths. Be prepared to see tons of people... More

Nothing's better about clear summer evenings in NYC than being able to walk over the Brooklyn Bridge to spend an hour or two taking in the free views of the City from a promenade bench. Add a hero from Lasson & Henings on Montague Street and you've got one of the best dining spots in all of New York.

Take a break to rest or to marvel. The view from the promenade reveals the majesty of lower Manhattan. On a sunny warm day, it is the best seat in the house.

Loved the neighborhood and the views of lower Manhattan. Close to several good little restaurants, too.

Seeing Manhattan from Brooklyn is what separates a novice NYC tourist from an up and coming one. First you have to get over the river, but then you find the killer views and leafy green streets that give you a hint of what New York once was. Best way is to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge. As a New Yorker,... More
