We hadn't planned on spending any time in Brooklyn but we're sure glad we did. A short stroll here before heading over the Brooklyn Bridge is on our "if we only had three days in New York" list! The views from the Promenade are made for photos! This is one of the least crowded areas we visited and loved it!... More

It's beautiful romantic walk and place to fall in love with the one you're with and the City of New York. We saw the NY skyline, the Manhattan Bridge, Brooklyn Bridge, Parks, Dumbo, the Statue of Liberty and sparkles in each others eyes! We can't see enought of this place!

It's a wonderful place to come out and relax. Waterfront with a small park for kids. But it pretty much quiet to me.

Great walk from Brooklyn to the city. Do it early as it gets a bit crowned with walkers and rather aggressive bikers.

You got both the Brooklyn bridge & Manhattan's skyline. The area is really nice, not as crowded as Manhattan or downton Brooklyn. Found a small falafel store, bought one to go then enjoy it at the Fruit Street sitting area.

I have been to New York a couple of times over the years, but didn't find the Promenade until my latest trip, in December of 2013. Me and my sister had a lovely day in Brooklyn Heights, with temperatures of 62 degrees (in December!). From the promenade you get a great view of the Manhattan Skyline and the Brooklyn Bridge.... Love the Promenade! The river and Manhattan on one side, gorgeous gardens on the other. It helped that it was a perfect day in the 70s. Don't miss it!

Always a best kept secret hiding spot for getting some peace, quiet and gorgeous views in the city, this place is getting more and more crowded during beautiful summer days. Nevertheless, still a gorgeous place to take a while and scope out the views of the Manhattan skyline - bonus points if taking in one of the epic concerts at... More

I love this place. It is a great place to sit and relax while watching the sunset over the East River. The view of Manhattan is amazing. I can walk here from both my office and my home so spend a fair amount of time here.
