A view of the BIG APPLE

This is the place you want to go to take those memorable pics of your visit to NY. Nice place to walk around as well. There's many restaurants near by in case you get hungry

Took the A Subway from Manhattan and hopped off to explore the Fulton Mall atmosphere first - a hip feel in this area of Brooklyn & much less havoc than Manhattan - a very different feel. Enjoyed the stroll along the promenade taking in the view and very old fancy brown stone terraces A lovely day out walking vp back... More

I only had a short trip but had to do this little walk a couple times. I did once in the evening and then during the day as well. Evening with the sunset over the status of liberty! And night with the lights of Manhattan. Plus all the pretty houses and close to great restaurants.

We stayed at Towers building and for the three mornings after breakfast we walked the Promenade to get shots of the Skyline and repeated the walk in the evening stand on the spot in the middle and look at the skyline images on brass plates on the floor to understand how things change

However you get to the Promenade, whether it's driving, walking, bus or train, I always love to pay attention to how quiet the neighborhood gets. Just minutes from the hustle and bustle of downtown Brooklyn and a short bridge ride from the the big city, sit's this unasuming, quiet, peaceful little park. You'll see people running, walking, talking, reading, sitting,... More

This place is amazing. You feel as you can touch Manhattan. If on a budget this place at sunset would be perfect for a proposal. The view of the Freedom Tower & Bklyn bridge cannot be topped.

Amazing few of Lower Manhattan. Even has a playground for little ones. Excellent restaurants and shops on nearby Montague Street.

I've walked across several bridges and this was the worst. Mainly because there are so many people and cyclists at the same time. The cyclists keep saying "you're in the bike lane" and want you to move but there is no where to move. With it being so crowded, and cyclists coming at you, you can't really stop and take... More
