This was a fun place to walk around. We went to the waterfront and watched the ships. Several new brides were there getting their pictures taken and there's a great little ice cream place there on the waterfront that is neat as well. This was a cool place to visit on our way to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge back... More

We spent a good 2 hours walking around Dumbo area at 6-8PM and had a hard time finding things. I'd recommend a map before you go.

We took a stroll here with a large group, sampled some ice cream at the base of the Brooklyn Bridge, then took in the carousel. It was a wonderful place, very historic, and great views of Manhattan while there. Great night spots there too but we stayed outside to enjoy the evening and the views.

Went there in September and lived it. Spent the day at the food market and at the street art exhibition. Very nice area and perfect as you can walk across the Brooklyn Bridge to and from Manhattan to get there. There's also a pier for the ferrys there.

We walked across the Brooklyn Bridge and down to the water. Had a great meal of special made pizza and just enjoyed walking and sitting around. Caught the water taxie back across to the 911 Memorial.

We walked over the Brooklyn Bridge and down into Dumbo. It is a lovely space and the views are fantastic. We went on a Saturday and it was busy but not crowded. It is still being constructed but we didn't see that as a problem. It was great to see the rejuvenation of this area. Take the ferry back to... More

If you do love bridges as i do, come to Dumbo and enjoy the view to the two of the greatest bridges of the NYC: Brooklyn and Manhattan, and also have a walk there to enjoy the feeling of modern architecture of the beginning of the 20's Century.
