This area is a great way to end a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge. We did the walk and then spent a couple of hours in DUMBO enjoying the shops and then sat out for a coffee and did some people watching on a beautiful afternoon.

I was taken here on a recent business trip just to relax and have fun and do some shopping. What a gem! Great shops, restaurants, Jacques Torres Chocolates! The Merry Go Round was cool! Many weddings were happening all around. Great views of the bridge and city. Old buildings, art school graffiti. I'll return on my next trip to NYC!

great views, good shopping, you pay for the location. We had lunch there after hanging out in the Brooklyn Bridge park... worth the walk just to walk around.

Dumbo was a lovely area sitting under the Manhattan and Brooklyn bridges, while we were there, there was still plenty to do although there was still clear evidence of damage from hurricane Sandy. Many shops and business were still closed due to flood or storm damage. A good 5* when they get back on their feet

Dumbo is a great little neighborhood especially on a nice day. It is a good transition if you are staying in Manhattan and want to go into Brooklyn for the day. There little to say about this place but a lot to see. The neighborhood is small but you shouldn't be going to explore the neighborhood but to see the beautiful view of the city by the river edge. Go at night and just seat down and enjoy the view. Another great thing is that isn't bombarded by tourist.

DUMBO's history is incredible. walk from the F train down water street to the pier and you've passed four centuries of history in 20 minutes. Quaint shops and eateries. Fun sights. Always a great time exploring this as it is always changing. Some merchants we ran into gave us great advice on places to eat!

Dumbo has the best small park for viewing Manhattan. There is plenty of food to eat on grassy slopes. The views are framed by the Broolyn and Manhattan bridges.
