We walked across the Brooklyn Bridge from Manhattan and then caught the ferry from Brooklyn park to Williamsburg. It was a fab way to see the river and skyline of Manhattan and the bridges. It was relatively cheap, and the boats were on time and were clean.

What a wonderful and inexpensive way to get from Manhattan to Brooklyn for some fabulous scenery.... We used it often because we were staying in Greenpoint, but it is so useful and fun.... Best way to get to Brooklyn and then walk the bridge or find the Promenade....

My first time going on it and it was great! Not a lot of tourists know about it so it's not that crowded which I loved and it's cheap only $4 for a 30 minute boat ride! Great views of the buildings and you pass by Brooklyn bridge and more.

We took the ferry on a beautiful day I would think twice about doing this on a bad weather day but it's an inexpensive way to get to midtown Manhattan from Brooklyn with a little sightseeing

We walked over the Brooklyn Bridge on a hot sunny day and we were too tired to walk back, so we took the ferry. It was only $4 each, and well worth it. It makes 4 or 5 stops before depositing you at 34th street. My advice is to go up to the top of the boat outside. It was... More

If staying in midtown Manhattan, take this ferry from the 34th St ferry terminal to the Brooklyn side of the Brooklyn Bridge. From there you can walk the bridge back to Manhattan. The ride is only $4 and you get the best views of Manhattan. This is a really fast ferry, we loved it.

We took the ferry from the park opposite Manhattan's 34th Street after Saturday in Williamsburg with thrifting and Smorgasburg. It was great to see the 'alternate skyline' from the boat. All er uncomplicated and fun. Various places to stay on the boat (it was a hot day). Many had their bikes on board.

Ferry: First it takes forever to get to Manhattan not worth it and then we had a rude captain who, when I mentioned I was moving because I did not want to inhale the smoke from his cigarette, proceeded to close the doors on all passengers after threatening he would do that. It was incredibly hot as a result and... More

We spent our first night in Queens and needed to get to Brooklyn for our 2nd night. We could take a taxi, bus, subway. We took the East River Ferry. $4 each, what a deal and the sights were awesome. Check the photos. You can get anywhere on this thing from mid-town to Wall St. to Queens to Brooklyn. Its... More
