Fun way to transit to manhattan from Dumbo. We went north to 34th street & were glad we chose that route as the ferry stops in and cruises by numerous neighborhoods along the east side of the river that otherwise would never be seen. So much construction going on everywhere -- the city is ever-changing. A great deal for $4.

A nice ride down or up the Hudson River. Must do to get a feel for local Brooklyn. Took the ferry from Williamsburg to Brooklyn Bridge. Amazing views though we had a choppy ride and the docking was hard and jerky at one point.

A friend of mine recommended me to try this ferry. I did once and then got hooked. For 4 USD (6 on the weekends) it takes you for a substantial distance up or down the East river. We stayed at LIC and this was the perfect way to get down to the finical district without having to do connecting subway... More

A wonderful way to see Manhattan and Brooklyn from the water. Only $4 one way. Travell under the Williamsburg ,Manhattan and Brooklyn bridges and finish off atWall st . You can then get off and purchase a return trip to Green Point . It's a fun trip,.

I wanted to come to NY city for most of my adult life and when I finally got there this summer, I wasn't sure how I feel about the city. I was staying with family in Williamsburg and thoroughly enjoyed sites of Brooklyn and Manhattan, but I just wasn't sure if real love is there. Kind of love you can... More

I'm a block from the South Williamsburg pier. I c a n get to Midtown,Downtown,DUMBO/Brooklyn Bridge Park more easily and comfortably than any other means. I'm going to try the Long Island Citystop and explore there. NewYorkers seem unaware of this treasure.

The East River Ferry is a nice way to be on the East River and get to Brooklyn Bridge Park, Dumbo, Williamsburg and Long Island City. While the ferry is not the quickest -- it takes an hour to get from one end to the other, it could take longer to get to some of these places by subway and... More

For a mere $6 you can "zip" across the river from wall st to Brooklyn Park/DUMBO and eat walk and enjoy - worth it!!! We took the ferry across at sunset (nice!) and later walked back across the bridge. Awesome experienced beautiful views!

We took the the ferry from Greenwood to Wall Street. It's a great way to travel from Brooklyn into Manhattan. It's inexpensive $4.00, a lovely ride, and you see great sky line views. Go to the back of the ferry and you have great photo opportunities.

We took the ferry from Brooklyn Bridge uptown. The children enjoyed the speed of the boat, we enjoyed the views and only for $4 each. Very talented captain speeding up river.
