After walking the Brooklyn Bridge and eating and Grimaldi's a great place just to relax and enjoy the views and perhaps have an ice cream from the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory. More

spent the day in Brooklyn. Travelled along the water to eat, relax people watch. It was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon. Worth the trip. More

This is a wonderful project that will give the East River waterfront back to New Yorkers. Unfortunately, as of April 2012, there is still a lot of work going on. My guess is that less than half of the Park is completed (essentially the two ends). I will return when completed though, as I am sure it will be amazing. More

You can reach it fairly easily by subway (we took A/C to High Street from Nostrand Avenue); The park itself is very beautiful and is right under the Brooklyn Bridge. This is a great place to go if you want very unusual and fine pictures of Manhattan. The areai is clean and safe. Strongly suggested. More

My little one enjoyed a ride on the beautiful carousel and the views were amazing. Young/small children below 42 inches ride the carousel for free and all others are $2. Just note that it can be hard getting... More

This is a gem of a park. It runs along the east river and affords a view of Manhattan that not many tourists get to see. You can reach it fairly easily by walking across the Brooklyn Bridge or, if you're on the subway, take almost any train to Brooklyn and get off at the first stop. (2,3 to Clark;... More
