Our extended family went here on a Sunday afternoon for some sightseeing and the Smorgasburg food fest. Beautiful view of the Brooklyn Bridge; great for some panoramic shots of the city. We sampled a good variety at Smorgasburg...quite some interesting eats! Shrimp teriyaki balls, ramen burger, vegan beet patty burger, etc. Nice sampling of the vendors and very busy! Quite... More

We spent all day at this park. My son is 8 so he was a little bored with the kids play are at pier 6 but kids smaller then that you could spend a lot of time there. We walked the whole thing from Pier 6 to Pier 1 and ended getting pizza and icecream at Pier 1.

Unless you have a specific destination in mind or want phenomenal views of lower Manhattan this is not the place to visit. Perhaps when grand plan is completed ... Currently many sections of the park are not contiguous. Lots of construction sites block the way. We entered from Main Street and walked to the Carousel but had to exit the... More

There's honestly something for everyone at Brooklyn Bridge Park, between free wifi and lush grass for the hipster set to read books and lounge on the lawn; free outdoor summertime concerts; plenty of space for family picnics; and lots of fun and unique playground features for kids. The playgrounds can get super crowded on summer weekends, which poses a challenge... More

Right on the water...beautiful view of Manhattan..carousel is awesome for kids of all ages. Vendors on the weekends. You will find little shops & restaurants on a cobbled street which I believe is Water Street. Very trendy & very safe

Great addition to the Brooklyn Bridge waterfront. This park is unique and offers locals a retreat from the craziness of NYC. I would caution visitors to not go on Sunday. It's overcrowded with people who are strolling and/or going to the food festival (Smorgasburg).

It has been many years since my husband and I visited New York. We stayed in Brooklyn Heights and were very happy to discover Brooklyn Bridge Park. We walked from Brooklyn Heights to DUMBO (in Williamsburg). There were lots of people thoroughly enjoying the park. It's great for families as well as couples and single folks.

The NYC gods finally got together and made harmony out of barren scorched earth and rotting piers! (and high time that it finally happened!). The location is of course splendid and supremely scenic (it is in front of the Brooklyn Esplanade, south of the Brooklyn Bridge) + by the water and now finally walkable and enjoyable. At this point is... More

So many great things to do in the Park. My kids enjoy playing basketball here due to the great views of Manhattan. They offer Kayaking, have a merry-go-round, and my favorite the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory is in the Park. Nice way to spend a day in Brooklyn.

Wow, what took them so long to develop this section of Brooklyn and take advantage of those NYC skyline views? There's six piers, each with something unique, such as the carousel, enclosed sports parks, grills and picnic tables, kayaking, and a small sandy area (no swimming as the sign says but would you really want to, lol!) When we went... More
