We were well inspired when we bought sandwiches to have a picnic there as they have picnic tables next to the Carrousel. We had a wonderful- and relaxed - time with a gorgeous view over Manhattan, the river and the bridge. One of my favourite activities in NYC!!

This park has wonderful little play/exploring spaces for children - I wish I were a kid again. There is a nice walking path that goes along the shoreline from DUMBO to the Pier 1-6 area. You have a gorgeous view of the Manhattan skyline. Hop on a water taxi/ferry for a great way to get around and see NYC.

I recently met my brothers, sister and brother-in law at Brooklyn Bridge Park on a beautiful Saturday for lunch. I grew up in Park Slope on 11th street so I have many fond memories of Brooklyn. I arrived here by Pier 5 first before noon so I was lucky enough to find metered street parking for only $6 for up... More

If you want to really experience this park start at Atlantic avenue. If you have kids you may never leave, particularly if they have bathing suits. Walk along the water to the Brooklyn Bridge and then keep going until you reach the end. There are always events and there is a great carousel on the Dumbo side. Time your visit... More

I walked around the entire park to see what whas new since I had not been there in a year. On Pier 1 they now have a glass enclosed sports facility for handball,... More

The views are like postcards, downtown NYC Statue of Liberty, and two iconic Bridges, Brooklyn and Manhattan bridge! Plenty of boat traffic in the harbor, all this makes for great photo ops! Walking is a pleasure, places to sit and take in the views, you can kayak, run, play hoops, etc... Many restaurants, close by Ignazios or Grimaldis for pizza, shake... More

This park is relatively new. There is free kayak rentals, basketball courts, bocce ball courts, roller skating rink, playground for the little ones and refreshment stands. The boat docks here so you don't have to drive there. And Shake Shack is around the corner for a quick bite.

This wonderful park deserves real plaudits. The kids loved the water play area even though they might think theya re too old for it. Lovely landscaping throughout, fantastic views.
