Brooklyn Bridge

its beautiful, I was taken aback by the city skyline. Brooklyn definitely needed some green space and this is magnificent.... I should visit more often but I dont.

Mostly, this is a great place to get some snaps of Manhattan. We grabbed an ice cream and enjoyed the view after walking over the Brooklyn Bridge. You can get a water taxi back to Manhattan which passes by the statue of liberty on your way back

We walked across Brooklyn Bridge and spent a few hours at this new development. Last time I was in Brooklyn (13 years ago) this whole area was part of the East River. Now there is a park, condominiums with striking views of the river, the bridge and the Manhattan Skyline. There are also piers along the river which have been... More

We enjoyed a lovely calm stroll through the park after tackling the crowds on the bridge, there are various pieces of artwork along the shore, fantastic views of the bridge and of Manhatten, and also a great Sunday food market at pier 1 which was well worth a visit for lunch.

What a FUNtastic place, a great discovery for us, free pop up pool, free kayaking on the E. River, lot of other fun activities for children and adults. The park is nicely done with the promenade and bike path, great views of Manhattan. There are wonderful outdoor cafes/pubs, ice cream and other nice restaurants. This place is worth a visit... More

Very enjoyable day spent in and around the Brooklyn Bridge park area. They have definitely spent time and money on redeveloping it in recent years (haven't been in some time), and further building/development work is still ongoing. We got there easily via the East River Ferry which I highly recommend - only 5 mins from Pier 11 which is in... More

I've been to this park a couple of times and love it, there's so much going on besides the great view of the Manhattan Skyline. I specifically came to take pictures but my kids came to enjoy this big park with their bikes. To me the best part is the view since I'm a photographer, you get to watch the... More

I went to the park three times. Two as part of tours - the Slice of Brooklyn Tour and the Blazing Saddles Bike the Brooklyn Bridge tour - and then back on the East River Ferry (the best NMO way to get there) to see an outdoor performance of Shakespeare in the park [not THAT park] the Brooklyn Bridge Park... It was a bit confusing to find the park from where the Grayline tour bus dropped off but we had great views of the bridge as we walked towards it and from the park. Took the hop on off boat tour from the pier. Wished we had time to rent bikes and explore more.
