Of course, this is the place to go for spectacular Manhattan view. In rain or shine. Better in the latter obviously. There is also the carousel, the ice cream, the ferry boats and the art. The park is huge, you can easily enjoying a moment without the crowds.

Beautiful park with one of the best views in town. See all famous landmarks from another perspective. Great place to hang out!

It's clean and we felt safe, good for a walk or a run. Good views but not much else. We were there on a unusually warm day and there were not many people.

Having lived in Brooklyn for 20 years and I always tell people who visit that the glitter and glam of Manhattan is nice, but you haven't seen the real New York until you've been to the outer boroughs---especially Brooklyn (IMHO!). As I mentioned in my review for the Brooklyn Promendade, for those who don't have the time or are a... More

After you have walked across the Brooklyn Bridge, grab a coffee or tea and head down to the Promenade park. Great park along the East River. Soak in the sunlight as you gaze across the river to the Manhattan skyline. Look to the south and the Statue of Liberty is within view. If you have small kids, there is a... More

There are so many beautiful, cool, well-designed aspects to this park that you simply must go and see for yourself when in Brooklyn. Great for individuals, couples, families.

On a clear night you can not find a better view of Manhattan. Views of the Brooklyn bridge are also amazing. Enjoy a stroll along the water front and have some ice cream at the foot of the Brooklyn bridge. This is a must visit destination for a photographer or a couple looking for some memorable moments. The is a... More

This park is great, when the weather is nice I ride my bike here and spend the day reading in the park. I always take out of town guests here so they can see the bridge and the spectacular view of downtown Manhattan.

This relatively new green space in Brooklyn is the perfect spot for just about any activity. Picnics, bbqs, sports, exercise, dining out, shopping....its all there plus more! Enjoy views of the Manhattan skyline, catch a ferry ride, or just relax! A local favorite!

I walk there whenever I can. It's a 20-minute walk from where I work. One can see The World Trade Center, The Status of Liberty and many other buildings right across the water. There are versatile boats that you can see such as The Water Taxi. A Virtual Taxi on water!!! It's a must see.
