Made in Brooklyn Tours are neighborhood walking tours with a Made in Brooklyn theme. Discover the Industrial Revolution in Brooklyn and celebrate the Creativity, Ingenuity and Entrepreneurial Spirit of the Brooklyn Makers of today. These tours are designed for adults in small to mid-sized groups for an especially good time together. We walk at a leisurely pace and make frequent stops and visits. No two tours are the same.

Dom provides an excellent tour of Red Hook, including several local businesses, and couples this with historical background of Brooklyn and Red Hook in particular. This tour is comparable to the best walking tours in Manhattan, but in addition provides access to the shops where local products are made - access that's not easy to get without Dom's relationships with... If you are planning a trip to NYC and trying to decide whether to include Brooklyn there are two questions you need to answer. Firstly, is it worth the effort and secondly how to go about it? We have made numerous visits to New York and only ever stayed in Manhattan. This was therefore our first visit to Brooklyn and,... More

We drove into Brooklyn from central New Jersey to take this tour. It was a cold winter day with a chance of flurries so we bundled up and met Dom for the Williamsburg tour. We had the most enjoyable afternoon! The tour was so interesting and so well done. In our travels to different cities we have often taken "bus... More

An excellent stroll around the sights, meeting the people of Dumbo as if they were friends and hearing insights that made the history of the neighbourhood come alive. Well paced and, as an unexpected bonus, visits to some of the local businesses and artists that make the area so vibrant and exciting. Dom is a top rate guide.

Yesterday I took a tour with Dom and I have to say it was one of the best I have ever taken. I have travelled extensively and have taken many tours and I would say this one rates in the Top Three. Dom's sunny personality and his depth and breadth of local knowledge made all the difference in the world.... More

Although we are from Brooklyn, we took Dom's DUMBO tour. What an incredible day! It was so great to share the day with someone who loves his hometown as much as we do! Dom really knows his stuff! A two hour tour ended up being a special day with a very special guy! Don't think twice...just do it!

Had a spectacular group tour with Dom on Saturday Nov 14. Dom tailored his Made in Brooklyn – Willamsburg Tour for a group of Girl Scouts and their parents. The history he shared was fascinating, and the stops were all wonderful. He has a real passion for the manufacturing past in Brooklyn as well as the current maker movement, and... More

I can't recommend Dom highly enough. I've done two of his tours: Bensonhurst and Gowanus. He brings Brooklyn neighborhoods to life with his enthusiasm and knowledge. Gowanus is all about its manufacturing past and the exciting new start ups and businesses moving in to this changing neighborhood. Bensonhurst is his home turf. It's with great pride that he shows off... More

Dom reflects the passion of the owners of his tour stops. Entrepreneurs need passion to start new companies and businesses, and Dom (being an entrepreneur himself) infects the tour group with that passion as he took us to 15 different startups and sites in the Williamsburg area of Brooklyn. Highly recommended.

We loved Dom's tours. He showed us lots of interesting places, shared history and insights and got some great food (ice cream, coffee, chocolate, vegan cheese and bagels in Williamsburg and Panini, hero sandwiches with incredible mozzarella cheese, ravioli in Bensonhurst). Don was born in Brooklyn and really knows his stuff. On our next visits we'll go to Red Hook,... More
