Friends recommended this tour as a way to get into the Christmas spirit. I don't see how ANYONE could come away from this tour without a smile on their face and a Christmas carol running through their heads. Paula was our tour guide. She is an absolute delight. Lots of fun with good stories and very intimate knowledge of the... More

We wanted some Christmas spirit, and we got it! For some reason I thought it was only one street, but it's the entire area! And it's mostly well done, nothing is just thrown around :) Well, well done! We loved it, and I wish we had a car so we could have driven around and seen it all :) Cool... More

Really OTT displays - gross/kitch and beautiful at the same time. Some of the houses have moving santas/snowmen and it's all quite a feats for the eyes! If you take the f train it's quite easy enough to walk to the lights. Fun and free way to get into the festive season, it's like fairyland in Brooklyn!

Dyker Heights transforms into a Christmas wonderland around Thanksgiving to New Years. Come by and see all the pretty displays. The general area is from 10th Ave to 13th Ave between 75th St & 86th Street. You can go beyond those premises and find some very nice decorated houses as well. I have lived here for more than 40 yrs... More

The neighborhood transforms into a wonderland around Christmas. Definitively worth the trip to see. The house are gorgeous to start but the lights are a splendor during the holidays. Great restaurants in the area.

Many tourists visit New York City during the Christmas season to see the light displays, but the real show is in Dyker Heights, Brooklyn. Most of the action is located in the 80's between 10th - 13th Avenues, but one of the busiest streets is 84th between 11th and 12th. There are families who decorate themselves and others who have...
