We visited Luna Park expecting a lively theme park, however it was really quiet and a little underwhelming. Rather than having an old-school charm, the theme park resembled a tired old carnival instead. We did try a few rides (having used the free wristband we received with our New York Passes) but left Coney Island after 2-ish hours. The quiet... More

The ride tickets are a little pricy, but there a several worth riding, especially the coaster with the 90 degree climb! It was out of the way for us, so we spent about 40, or so, minutes traveling to and from Times Square area by Subway. We didn't spend too much time here, but it helped break up the day... More

We brought our granddaughter during the summer and she had a ball. They have a lot of rides and she wanted to try most of them. I would like to see more benches, more shade and lower prices but the kids are why we go and they love it!

A working showroom for Zamperla, Luna Park has a selection of rides for all ages. From kiddie trains to roller coasters, you'll find it here. Unlike amusement parks, entrance is free; you pay for each ride. The games and food add variety to the experience. Then there is the world famous boardwalk! While the rides can be expensive, I think... More

If you are interested in rides worth the long subway ride to Coney Island. Area has been improved and lots of great rides. Eat at Nathan's, get banana custard on Surf Ave. and walk the boardwalk. (Great clean restrooms on the side of Nathan's were table are for outside eating)

We had a fantastic Day in Coney Island and Luna Park. The park is a perfect place for families with bigger children. They ride the different attractions and the adults enjoy the board walk and beach.

Went here whilst in NYC as wristbands were free with the New York pass, definitely worth a visit as the rides were really fun and the staff were great. Paid extra to go on the Cyclone which was amazing!

Personally, I didn't care much for this place. We took a very long subway ride to get there and it wasn't worth it. So many people, I couldn't breathe. Rides are super expensive. It would cost a small fortune to entertain a couple of kids. We did ride the cyclone and it was fun, but I won't go back.

Loved visiting here. It has all the charm of an old country fair but it's huge & there some absolutely thrilling rides. The rides put disneyland California to shame! Lots of rides for little kids too. It takes about 45 minutes to reach from manhattan. You can walk along the famous boardwalk on the water & there's plenty of dining... More
