It takes about an hour to reach Luna Park from Manhattan, so the trip itself is a hassle. The park is fairly expensive, it's packed, and you better bring shades in the summer because it gets hot as hell. Anyway, grab yourself a burger from White Castle, take a walk on the boardwalk and just relax if the rides aren't... More

This amusement park has a couple locations on the boardwalk. They have a system where you either purchase a card with credits, or can get a four hour wristband for riding the rides. Kids had a great time here.

If you have time in NY,Coney Island will be a good choice to visit. The Luna Park is fine but it is not cheap. The worst part is you have to wear hat and sunglasses cause it is so hard to find shadow. We went on weekday but weekends it will be much more crowded..

But not in that order....just in case. Cyclone built in 1927 but still kicks it for a wooden roller coaster. Might as well try the Ferris wheel while you are there. The original Nathan's is on Surf and there is another one out on the boardwalk which has a gift shop for all your Nathan's goodies.

Coney Island, New York, has had a long history in the world of amusement parks. it has seen the good, the bad, and the ugly. After Astroland closed down a couple years ago and the Zamperla company came in to spruce up the area and rejuvenate the amusement section, I wondered what the transformation would be like. I found it... More

This was our first time to Coney Island and being from the UK we didn't know what to expect. This is a fun little park, yes some of it is a bit old fashioned and out of date but where else can you get a good old fashioned fun fair by the beach! The park has something for everybody, kids... More

We visited Coney Island before leaving NYC after a 4 day trip. My kids were only wanting to ride a few rides, so I was unhappy with the cost of a wristband/tickets. Not every ride accepted the wristband/tickets either. Unfortunately, they only rode 1 ride that cost $10. I wish this info wold have been on the website. If you... More

I used my New York Pass to get 4 hours of unlimited rides down at Luna Park for the family, and we had a great day. Not all the rides are included in the 4hr pass, however, there was enough to keep my 7 and 5 yr old (and the adults) occupied for a few hours. The rides don't last... More
