We were here on Sunday August 23rd 2015 before we went to WWE's Summerslam. This place was awesome. My daughters who are 8 and 10 years old absolutely loved this place. Luna Park rides were fun, we spent at least 3 hours at Luna Park, remember the Ferris Wheel and other big coasters and even the Cyclone cannot be ridden... More

I went on a Tuesday afternoon and the park and beach were busy but not crowded. the beach is beautiful! The amusement park had an old, rustic feeling to it. lots of different rides for adults and children! However, the rides are a bit pricey. The Ferris wheel was 7 bucks and other adult rides are in that range. Overall,... More

Its a very very busy place. You do spend quite some time waiting in lines. I am not a big fan of busy and dirty places like these, but the kids did enjoy it.

As native Brooklynites, we haven't been to Coney Island in years. This space was last occupied with Freak Shows and rides. It's been re-developed into complete rides for Children. It was very crowded with children from camps. Our Grandchildren enjoyed the awesome rides. Coming out on the Boardwalk Exit, we were greeted with with "costumed" characters hustling to pose for... Luna Park at Coney Island is a delightful amusement park. We arrived at 11 am on a summer weekend and were pleased to find the place very uncrowded. No entry fee, Just pay for the rides. No lines for any of the rides. The kids loved the old school Cyclone as well as the newer thrill rides. I enjoyed not... More

We arrived at 11:15am, there were a few food places open by the subway and on the Boardwalk, but most things opened after 12pm. The cyclone is awesome (fast and long but doesnt go upside down). There wasnt much shade so be sure to take a hat and wear sunscreen :-) My husband and I looked for Tontonno's pizza, but... More

Well, not quite. Still not sure about the difference between Luna park and Coney Island park. However, take a towel and beach stuff or not, to go with a trip around all of the rides and amusements. Most will need a Luna card or wristband but there are some rides that take cash. Do take in Nathan's hot dogs, it's... More

We visited on a sunny August Monday using the New York Pass. We are a family of four and we had an excellent day. It was a direct subway ride from Midtown which lasts about an hour. We quite like scary rides, so although the most 'thrilling' are not included on the Pass wristband, there were plenty of others to... More
