What else can I say about the famous Coney Island, I enjoyed it more as a child seeing the rides, games, candy, hot dogs etc... My mom took me and my brother to Coney Island on special occasions and as we got older we were able to venture out there on our own with friends. I've been fortunate to never... More

Despite the loud, obnoxious, pushy teens, marijuana smell, and the rowdy crowds on a Friday night- we were able to enjoy ourselves at Coney Island. Friday night features fireworks at 9pm during the summer and the show was nice. Most of the beach area is closed off at night- or at least it was when we visited. Thank goodness for... More

Coney Island has so much to offer in one single location. You have the amusement park with tons of fun rides, numerous places to eat and drink, bars, a boardwalk and the beach. They also have fireworks every Friday night during the summer and it was quite a show! Plus, you cannot leave the area without having one of Nathan's... More

The kids loved it, they wanted to visit again but time did not permit, they kept speaking about it long after we left NY

They have done an amazing job after Sandy! The Boardwalk, the rides, the beach; all as wonderful as I remembered! Took my daughter for her first time and we spent the day. Nathan's, the Freak Show, Polar Express, The Aquarium. LOVE Coney Island!!

Had to stop here on the ride back from CT enroute to PA. Rode the Cyclone because it's a historical icon and wanted to compare it to another wooden coaster at an amusement park in PA. This was an experience I am glad to have taken-- it was a beautiful full moon lit summer night and the park was bustling... More

Born in Coney Island 50 + years ago, I had the pleasure of taking two of my grand-daughters to enjoy the beach, walk the Boardwalk and go on the rides much the same as their grandfather did in his youth. Although not nearly as large as it was in it's heyday, the amusement area still offers an exciting time for... More

Coney Island is part of US history so it's a must see. There is a combination of new rides and old. Must ride the cyclone( probably 12 bucks a ride) but you have to do it once in your lifetime. Many rides for the little ones and many places to eat. You have to have a dog and fries from... More

A great family day out. Prices for the rides are complicated and although you buy a wristband this does not include the ultimate rides. Also watch the bars as they charge huge prices for children to have a soda - tiny measures and no top ups. Apart from that it was a good day out but not in a nice... More

The old Coney Island doesn't exist any more but the ghost that remains can still offer fun. A hot dog at Nathan's and a ride on the cyclone followed by a walk on the boardwalk still is fun. A delicious meal can be had at the 100 year old gargulios Italian restaurant. There is the stark ice skating rink and... More
