First, the beach was filthy. Glass, trash ect all over sand. The beach water itself was nice. The strip, lots of little restaurants, ect. Park- a bunch of rides; be prepared to spend bucks. Overall average. I don't really understand what is the hype of Coney Island, but I did it once in my life, so it's good enough for... More

Ever since a kid, I've heard about Coney Island. It just sounded like one of the best places in the world to visit. It took me a long time to get there but it's totally worth it! Even if you don't ride the rides, it's fun to watch and try to figure out HOW they were able to get that... More

I went to walk on the boardwalk, see the sights and of course have a Nathans Lemonade and french fries. The beach is amazing and very clean. So much to look at..lots of new rides and stores.

We decided to make a visit and have a rest during the hot weather. The beach here is amazing and although the arcades and amusements are great for the younger market there is little for us older ones. Take a look at what Valencia or Alicante have on their beach side and some simple improvements could really revamp the area.

I have always seen this place in movies and have always wanted to go. I finally went while on vacation in NY. My husband and I had a great time and really enjoyed all the attractions.

Go for beach, sea, food (Nathans hot dog, ice cream and so many other options) rollercoasters, music, people...daily crazyness. Subway take 1 hour from Times Square, but you can easily get off and see Brooklyn Bridge.

We were at the park in July of 2014. There was a lot of police there too which was good because there were people who were drinking and very unruly. Over all this is not a great attraction, the rides were over priced, the lines were long for the big rides and the park was very dirty. The beach was... More

I was pleasantly surprise how clean coney island was. The boardwalk was extremely clean and we did not see one bit of trash on the floor. Some of the rides were a little old and rickety but nostalgic. I was not impressed with the nathans hotdogs and that their were salty. The only thing I was disappointed was with the... More

The beach has really been cleaned up nicely since Superstorm Sandy, and is great for a morning walk, before the crowds arrive. Serene, cheerful -- would recommend a breakfast picnic.

This was a real slice of New York life. It felt like the entire world was there on the beach. I was surprised by what a nice beach it was - clean water and nice sand. Lots of people were swimming and picnicking. Go in the water during the hottest part of the day, then walk up a street during... More
