My Wife and I took the Artic Circle drive tour to the Artic Circle on the 14 of September. At our arrival we were greeted by two representatives of the company who very cordially explained the schedule and how the tour would proceed. At the bus the driver-guide introduced herself and guided us through all the safety procedures. The vehicle... More

My Husband and I took the Aurora Fall fly/drive tour to Coldfoot on the 22nd August in the hope of seeing the Northern Lights. Firstly we took the 1 and a half hour flight to Coldfoot with John our pilot. He kept us interested with details about the area we were flying over. We spent a couple of hours at... More

We took the day flight from Fairbanks to Barrow on an 8 passenger Piper Chieftan. Two other couples were on the flight with us. We wanted to see the northern-most city in the US, the Arctic Ocean, and in general get a sense of what it is like to live in a place like Barrow, Alaska that is so remote... More

The company was totally upfront about how long the day would be, but until you spend that much time on the bus you just don't realize how very long it is. We took the Arctic Circle trip and though I'm glad we did it, we would probably choose to drive it ourselves the next time. The positives - Kate, our... More

We had the best alaskan experience taking the tour.. this is by far one of the best tours we have taken.. the whole staff were so kind... We had a great time flying with matt and the bus ride back to Fairbanks was just awesome. Our tour guide mimi was fantastic and so accomodating.. she was ready for any number... More

My personal opinion for someone reading this review: rent a 4 wheel drive vehicle and drive to the Arctic circle yourself. There is not one thing along the way that you can't figure out on your own. As for the Arctic Circle certificate they provide? The US Forestry folks have a tent set up at the sign with info and... More

Regardless of mud and rain, this road/highway through the boreal forest is a great way to see how big Alaska is beyond a flat map!

This was a waste of money! It was a seventeen hour bus tour covering 400 miles of the Dalton Highway where (after the first couple of hours) not much remarkable scenery was seen . I will say that if your interest is to see hundreds of miles of the pipeline this trip might be for you. The stops were unremarkable... More

The main reason you would want to do this tour is to be able to say that you have been above the arctic circle. We did the fly both ways tour (otherwise we could have flown one way and driven 8 HOURS back). The flight was good - nice scenery, including a rare clear look at Denali (Mt. McKinley). Upon... More

I was traveling on my own in Alaska last winter and I booked a tour to Arctic Circle with this company. It was an awesome adventure, but not an easy trip in the middle of January. Oh man, I'm glad we all survived this adventurous journey through the tundra. It was pretty cold and it was snowing most of the... More
