Great! Especially if you want to state you stepped foot into the Arctic Circle. We flew from Fairbanks to Coldfoot, Ak. about 90 miles north of the Arctic Circle. Our pilot, Kelly, explained things we were seeing on the ground during our flight. He also adjusted his flight route (because of cloud coverage) so we could see much more. Landing... More

On our Alaskan bucket list was to touch the Arctic Ocean. Thanks to NATC, we can cross it off our list. Our trip almost didn't happen because not enough people purchased the Barrow trip. Matt from NATC notified us a couple days beforehand and offered to reroute us on Alaskan Air, change to a Arctic Circle flight, or give us... More

We loved to see the pristine wilderness of Alaska from the sky. Our pilot, Todd, had loads of information and talked to us the whole way to Coldfoot. Next, we hopped into a van to drive to Wiseman, where we got shown around by a local guide. Lunch was very filling and tasty. My only suggestion is to be sure... More

Just did Fairbanks - Prudhoe Bay Fly/Drive tour in Late June. 1st Caution - Do not book this tours unless you are a Nature Lover and love Complete wilderness. Because there is nothing much to "SEE" or "DO" in this tour. The whole tour is a wonderful experience and an Adventure, For me I loved the Drive back from Prudhoe... More

wow only 1% of visitors to the interior of Alaska actually go to the artic circle Well take the bus it is a little long but hey you can say you have been there I thought it was worth it. If I had a little more money I would recommend the fly drive as the return trip is a bit... More

This was just what I wanted, but didn't really know what to expect. We flew from Fairbanks, fuel stop at Cold Foot and on to Barrow (via Gates of the Arctic National Park). At Barrow we were met by a tour guide who drove us to the places he had planed to show us in his home town. It was... More

I have rated this tour (fly/drive) good but the fact that the long journey back by land is tedious can possibly cause discomfort to some. This is something that you must be aware of before taking the tour. Nonetheless it was a good experience and is worth embarking on if you want to feel that you've been in the Artic... More

The worst tours I ever had. They make a fool of the tourists who like to visit Alaska. If you wish to waste your money and time then go for it. The bus they have has not windows hence it becomes very suffocating when the A.C is not turned on.Sabrena - The bus driver wouldn't turn the A.C on even... More

Really wanted to go on this excursion. Concerned, because I had heard it had been cancelled the evening before - the Holland America representative at the hotel called the company directly - and was assured the trip was "on" for that evening. Paid for the tickets, got a confirmation - and passed up other excursion opportunities. Less than 15 minutes... More

The Aurora Borealis is something that you must to see before died! the place choose was The Artic Circle some miles ahead of Fairbanks. A very confortable lodge, some tea, coffee or soup. The weather -19*C, and a highest expectation to wait the nature show time. The Aurora Borealis begining after 10 or 11 pm, until 3 or 4 am,... More
