Friendly huskies year round! Join us this summer for our Summer Sled Dog Adventure! Aurora viewing September through April. Sirius Sled Dogs is located near the top Of Murphy Dome about 25 miles northwest of Fairbanks. It's a beautiful scenic drive culminating in what we believe to be the best of Alaska. Discover off the grid living at our cabin on Lincoln Ridge. An expansive view of Denali and the Alaska range are visible to the south. Murphy Dome is visible to the north where the Aurora often rises as each night falls in winter.

Our daughter's only request (she is 14 and LOVES dogs) for our trip to Alaska was to see huskies. She did not care about riding the sleds but just wanted to hang out with the dogs for a while. We had called a couple of places and they suggested we call Anita. We are SO glad we did! Just meeting... More

Anita gave us a great tour. We got to spend time with and pet all the dogs after being out on the sleds for an hour. Getting to drive the sleds was great too. Excellent tour.

Sirius Sled Dogs was a great place to spend two evenings watching the Aurora! The cabin was cozy, with lots of friendly, fuzzy huskies to pet and play with, when trying to warm up in between taking photos of the Aurora. It was fun to photograph the others doing the dog sledding too! An overall great experience, with door-to-door pickup/drop-off... More

Went here today with another couple as we were all here to view the aurora borealis. We all had fun, getting a chance to both ride in the sleds and be the person in back on the runners. Nita was friendly, great with the dogs, and obviously an expert in what she does. Very customer friendly, but cares deeply for... More

My daughter (11 yrs.) and I visited Fairbanks end of December and were lucky to enjoy this once-in-a-life dog mushing experience. Anita (Nita) picked up us from our B & B in her immaculate truck, and drove us to her home in the midst of the local mountains. When we opened the doors of the car, her two smaller dogs... More

My friend and I had an utterly amazing time on the Sirius Sled Dogs Day Tour. Nita was incredibly helpful and prompt in organising our booking as well as picking us up. She was extremely kind and the dogs were all really friendly and super fun to play with. The sights on the tour are really beautiful and it makes... More

Anita Fowler suggested the option of turning off our headlamps and mush by moonlight...not long after we followed her recommendation we caught a glimpse of the Green Lady herself... The Midnight Mushing, The Aurora Borealis, the warm cabin, hot beverages, the interaction with the playful dogs, made for a unforgettable Christmas Eve!

Wife and I booked a last minute Dog Sledding Adventure with Anita and Sirius Sled Dogs Day Tours and boy are we ever glad we did. Anita picked us up at outré motel and drove us to her place up in the hills (a very scenic drive in itself). We met the dogs and played with them for a while... More

My husband and I came to Fairbanks to visit my parents (I grew up in Fairbanks). As my husband is from Texas, I needed a great way to introduce him to Alaska, so I took him here for a day tour so that he could enjoy the scenery. We drove ourselves to the cabin and Anita gave us a discount... More

My husband and I are visiting from Maui and we were very excited to go dog sledding! Anita is such an amazing person! We had the greatest time mushing! The dogs are incredible athletes, each with his or her own personality and so sweet! Anita answered all of my many questions and explained how the dog kennels are run. She... More
