Friendly huskies year round! Join us this summer for our Summer Sled Dog Adventure! Aurora viewing September through April. Sirius Sled Dogs is located near the top Of Murphy Dome about 25 miles northwest of Fairbanks. It's a beautiful scenic drive culminating in what we believe to be the best of Alaska. Discover off the grid living at our cabin on Lincoln Ridge. An expansive view of Denali and the Alaska range are visible to the south. Murphy Dome is visible to the north where the Aurora often rises as each night falls in winter.

I cannot explain what a magical night we had with Nita and her team. She welcomed us into her home and made us feel like family. The night could have turned out very differently given the van that was supposed to bring us from the hotel not only got lost...but stuck on a back road without cell service. Luckily, we... More

We did the sledding & kennel tour and absolutely loved it. They have a beautiful piece of land, an incredible view and incredible dogs too. We felt that they just welcomed friends right into their home and treated us as such, not like we were customers. The entire staff, including the dogs were just amazing and really made it a... More

This was our favorite activity in Fairbanks. We took the Mushing School, so we met the huskies, helped get them harnessed (well I tried), went out for a demo ride, and then got to "drive" the team ourselves. Afterward we helped take off the harnesses and give the dogs their "cookies". Really, other than staying on the sled (which is... More

Title says it all. My review is long overdue- I took the dog sledding tour + aurora borealis viewing back in September. Do you like your mind being blown? Because that's what will happen. Nita and Josh were absolutely AMAZING hosts. I can't stress this enough. You can tell they treat their pups super well. They let us meet all... More

Sirius Sled Dog Tours was recommended to us by someone we met in our hotel. We called Nita and she was gracious enough to accommodate our group of 9 people on a few days notice. She arranged for a shuttle van to pick us up and transfer us to her place. Long story short...the van got stuck in a snowbank,... More

My wife and I went on their dog sledding/aurora viewing package. First off, they were VERY accommodating when our original tour had to be scrapped because our flight had been canceled. When we met them, they were great hosts. We got to spend time hanging out with them and their dogs, we took a fun run through the woods at... More

Anita and Josh are great hosts! The sledding experience itself was fantastic! If you are afraid of dogs, don't be. They are well trained and very friendly. A must-do in Fairbanks!

There's no doubt that Alaska is beautiful in the winter, but to take a dog sled ride through the wood with the sun lurking between the tree lines, is spetacular. This is a small company but the dogs are full of energy, they couldn't wait to go for a ride. There 10 of us but Anita's company can only accommodate... More

Anita made my tip to Alaska an unforgettable experience. This was my first time travelling solo and and she made me feel completely at ease from the moment she picked me up from my hotel. Easy to talk to and full of information and stories about Alaska. She loves her dogs very much and I could see that as soon... More

Anita was a wonderful host for my tour. Her dogs are so precious and she explains to you all their personalities. She picked me up at my hotel and drove out to their land where we did the tour. She provided me with much warmer gear than I showed up which was definitely a savor to my experience. I was... More
