We did two tours on back-to-back days with 1st Alaska Outdoor School. The Arctic Circle Tour was great. It was nice to not have to worry about doing the 14-hr round-trip drive on our own. Our guide, Carolee (spelling?) was fantastic and definitely made the trip worthwhile. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of the area and... More

Thank you, Amanda for your review in regards to our tours. While Ed is a newer guide for our organization, we strive for nothing but the best experience and this is unacceptable by our standards. Along the way, plenty of information should have been shared about the wonders of Chena Hot Springs as our guides should play a strong role... More

My wife has the same opinion like me (it happens not very often): It was a really nice tour! At first we were picked up at the hotel (great advantage!) After that we saw some mooose underway. At the hot springs our first stop was the ice museum with spectacular ice carvings. Then the main attraction: While relaxing in the... More

A completly new experience. It's very cold but it's worth the ride !!! We had a really good time there, the staff was very friendly and made sure the experience was unforgetable.

We were picked up from our hotel by Jeff and driven to Chena hot springs in hopes of getting a northern lights viewing. The tour didn't disappoint.. The wander through the Ice museum was great, the dip in the beautiful springs was breath taking and finally the lights started dancing for us at 2am...Words can not describe!! Jeff was amazing,... We were able to book a night tour thanks to the people at the Fairbanks. Information centre. Carolie picked us up in the van and drove us the one hour trip up the mountains where we were met by Sven and his team. We were then split into groups of three and taken out through the woods for an hours... More

Joe and Carolyn were great. They exceded my expectations. They gave lots of facts and were tons of fun.

This was my first trip to Alaska, so I had to make the trek up to the Arctic Circle. I picked 1st Alaska Outdoor School for my tour. Our guide Tom was very knowledgeable and friendly with plenty of stories to tell. The tour was great and I would recommend this company.
