We went dog sledding for the first time today. It was a fantastic adventure! We did the one-hour sled ride, but my husband got to briefly "drive" the sled at one point. Our musher was Jessica. She is a very experienced musher (4 time Iditarod participant!) and happy to talk all about mushing. I didn't know much about the sport... More

We had 1-hr dogsled trip with Paw. Leslie's husband picked us up at our hotel on time. It was like 15-mins drive from the city to the site. The girl meeting us at yurt (Kelsey?) was very nice, friendly and warm. We were kind of worried about the coldness when riding even we were dressed for the weather already. But... More

I researched around for a dogsledding tour and this place seemed to be the best. When we arrived we were greeted right away by a couple of the dogs. They provided warm clothes for those people who weren't quite prepared. The ride was amazing! We chose the 1hr tour and it was well worth it. Our guide Kevin was such... More

Kelsey met us at the yurt upon arrival. She was wonderfully warm and friendly. She got us warmly dressed (they have lots of warm outer wear) and out we went. We visited with the dogs for a bit and found our sled. The dogs just want to run. Kevin was our guide and gave a very nice narrative throughout the... More

We were visiting my family in Fairbanks, and my sister gave us a dogsled trip as a Christmas gift. She had asked around in Fairbanks about the best place for a dogsled tour, and an Iditarod musher suggested Paws for Adventure. Paws is incredibly well run. Leslie responded to all our email questions immediately, and when we got there, everything... More

We were too late for our appointment with black spruce, but leslie was able to fit us in last minute at paws for adventure. We were staying at A taste of Alaska lodge (just up the hill) and a quick text from Kory to Leslie made it happen before our flight out of town. Kevin talked to us about his... More

It was a great experience and our guide was very friendly and described many aspect of the dog mushing in great detail. The trail is amazingly beautiful, we stop a few times and he took great picture for us. They will provide with all the gear needed to protect yourselves from the cold.

We had so much fun with the pups at Paws for Adventure!! Our guide, Chase, was great, stopping for pictures and letting us drive the sled!! Thank god they had extra warm outer wear for us. We showed up in what we thought was enough cold weather gear, but they recommended we supplement our gear with some of theirs and... More

What an amazing experience! Everyone was so friendly and informative. They have extra gear for you to borrow, should you need it. They allow you to spend as much time with the dogs as you'd like. My daughter petted each and every one of them! The terrain is incredibly beautiful and the guides will stop and take pictures up close... More

I had a great time dog mushing with Paws for Adventure. The place was easy to find and the heated yurt was much needed to warm up my toes after mushing. I did a 30-minute mushing and liked it so much I did it again. The dogs were definitely excited when we got there and all voiced their wanting to... More
