Best Milkshake around! Cute little lunch counter and quick sandwich and drinks. Homemade cherry cokes.

This stands out in downtown. An old drugstore that still has prescription pickup and makes food on the old bar stools. Nice for kids to see what it used to look like.

This is a working drug store and the only one in the US I believe that is still catering to customers with prescriptions,, a fully stock drug store and a great fountain where they make their own chicken salad, yes, cook the chicken right there, cool it and prepare the best chicken salad you could ever want. They do the... More

When my wife and I want a quick sandwich, this is the place--BLT, chicken salad, breakfast items, and other typical food you would get in a diner or drugstore in the 50s and 60s. Not fancy. Stools for kids to get that counter-experience. Pickles, chips with sandwiches. Milkshakes made with real ice cream and milk. Flavored--cherry, lemon--fountain soda. We both... More

We discovered Goolrick's Pharmacy thanks to a painting hanging in our hotel room. My husband did a quick search on Google and discovered that not only was it a real location, but it was only a few walking blocks from where we were staying. They were already closed for the day, so we decided to have lunch there the following... More

Had BLT's that were just awesome as well as malted milk shake. Very reasonable and fresh! It just hits the spot. It's the longest running drug store in the US !

We thoroughly enjoyed having lunch at Goolrick's, a 1950's styled diner and operating pharmacy. They serve great milk shakes and cherry coke made the way you remember them in the 50's. Enjoyed a tuna salad sandwich. It has the stools and typical soda fountain counter and the food is very reasonably priced.

Enjoyed lunch and a cherry Coke. Reminded me of my younger days at my local soda fountain. The two ladies who worked the counter were very friendly.
