I think the Coolidge Corner Theater goes out of its way to hire the rudest people to work there. From the people who sell the tickets to the guys who clean the theaters. For some reason they all look the same, all black clothes and eyeglasses with heavy black frames. Like they all went to the same bad film school... More

"It's only playing at Coolidge Corner Theater" - said anyone of any up and coming limited release movie. In the heart of Brookline, close to delicious restaurants, fun shops and the T, sits a pearl of movie theater experiences. It's a clash of the olden days theater, with artsy deco interior and big lighted sign exterior, and modern conveniences, like... More

Our favorite theater. The main theater is beautiful and comfortable. They show great movies, and the best: they have draft beers.. Once you've been here, you never want to go to AMC/LOEWS anymore!

Great local independent theater in the heart of Coolidge Corner. Join if you are local. They need your support and it is more than worthwhile. They show great films and there are lots of benefits for members! Something for everyone from tots to grandparents!

I was at this theater for the Johnny Cupcakes Home Alone event. It's very charming, I even enjoyed a beer with the movie! We will be at the next Johnny event as well!

If you are in Brookline and are looking to see a movie, try this theater. They show old classic movies and movies that are more in the "art" of movie making. The theater is an art deco style theater with ornate interiors. The place is alway full so get there early.

I love this theater. They have movies that don't get shown everywhere. They are often more intellectual in nature, and do well in Brookline. The movie theater was lovingly restored by people in the community who didn't want to lose this gem. Lots of parking nearby, and just a comfortable place to see movies.

The Coolidge Corner theater is a vintage art deco theater. Good movies, lots of inde films as well as some of the usuals, discounts and if you join this non-profit organization as a member, great film/food perks. Love being able to easily access theater by walking or the T. Parking available for those further away. Lots of local places to... More

Large, majestic theater on the ground level. Smaller theaters upstairs. Reasonably priced (compared to metroplexes) refreshments. Well curated movie offerings. In the heart of Coolidge Corner with parking lot adjacent and T-stop a half block away. What more could you ask for? Oh, yes, I remember. They also serve wine and beer!

Everyone who loves art films knows the Coolidge Corner Theater. The rooms range from the large renovated 1st floor cinema to the tiny 8 person room. Customers tend to be polite and not talk which I can't say about most of the movie houses around.
