Everyone who loves art films knows the Coolidge Corner Theater. The rooms range from the large renovated 1st floor cinema to the tiny 8 person room. Customers tend to be polite and not talk which I can't say about most of the movie houses around.

This is a beautiful huge art deco movie theatre with very comfortable seats, a huge screen, good popcorn and even wine & beer! It is a great place to see a movie. The only challenge is parking as it is in the heart of Coolidge Corner.

went here for our anniversary, and i'm regretting not going here sooner. The theater has amazing charm and ambiance. The cool thing about this place is that there are no pre-movie commercials because they are independent. This also allows them to show some odd, unique, and limited release movies which you wont find anywhere else. Ticket prices were $11 for... More

My husband and I went to a movie in this Theatre last weekend and it didn't look like much from the outside but we were pleasantly surprised by the inside. The screening room we went into was a good size and looked like it had all the original decor from 1930's. It was facinating to see and we really enjoyed... More

I love this theater, just for it's laidback, non-commercial feel. It's not a madhouse, it's beautiful inside, and right in the middle of town.

love this little theater. The space definitely will take you back to an era gone by. Great foreign and arts films venue. Funky food offerings and comfortable seating.

I saw a movie that had been out a while in a small "screening" room. It felt as though we were in a private showing; with only about 12 or so big, comfortable chairs and a smallish screen. I enjoyed sitting in this theater as much as the movie we saw! Can't wait to see the other theaters, this is... More

Love their selection of movies which include classics, live theatre recordings from England & art movies that don't appeal to the masses. Seats are very comfortable. Street parking can be difficult

Lovely, well restored theatre. It is always a treat to watch a movie here with friends or loved ones.
