My friend and I took the 9:30pm Ghost Tour. Our tour guide was Melinda who was very comical, knowledgeable and quite the story teller This tour is definitely rich in the history of Savannah which connects purposefully with the ghost stories. This tour is not a "jump out of your skin" type of tour. If your are looking for that...I... More

My friend and I did a walking tour with Bill Thomson, experienced guide with Savannah Walks on Friday 3 February - it was called the Savannah Stroll (there is also a Civil War walk which I am sure would be great too). The tour was 1.5 hours but we learned so much: it was brilliant - highly recommended! I honestly... More

We took the ghost tour, and the Civil War tour. They are both excellent. I like to take my out of town guests on tours like this, they enjoy it, and the guides are very good. More

I debated for some time between taking a trolley tour or a walking tour; but with all the lovely homes and beautiful squares and the geography/layout of the historic district, it just made plain sense to walk it and get a real feel for the area. We met our guide, Kelse, at Reynolds Square, and began our tour (which lasted... More

Our guide for the walk was Mr. Bill Thomson. He was most enlightening on subjects as varied as history, architecture (even fine details on the buildings we passed), art, and the gardens (even some plant species) in the squares. The walk lasted an hour and a half -- not at all strenuous -- and was well worth the cost. We... More

Our guide, Andre Frattino was very knowledgeable, friendly, and interesting to talk with. He not only told us ghost stories, but intertwined them with local history. Andre knew how to wrap up each story so that the end left you surprised. I can't say enough good things about our tour and tour guide. I would definitely go again. More

I had read about Savannah being one of the few cities in the South not destroyed by the Civil War. Bill Thomson shared many interesting facts about buildings and persons of historical significance. He was friendly and answered questions revealing a wealth of knowledge about Savannah. I highly recommend this tour! More
