Sep 19, 2014 If you want to seed commercial waterfront activities (loading & unloading cargo ships), the dirty rear of old waterfront buildings and undeveloped waste areas then this is the cruise for you; otherwise, avoid it. We also got to listed to (but not understand) a mellow but garbled voice narrate the entire one hour tour. Speaking for me... More

The narration on this cruise was good that is why I gave it a average rating but I think they should tell you that you'll see a lot of the industrial part of the river. The seats on the top deck were uncomfortable, and the drinks from the snack shop were too expensive (we ordered a medium soft drink and... More

We elected to pay a little more to have window seats. Once aboard the boat, we walked around and noticed music on two levels: a DJ on top and a 3 piece band on the dining floor. After departing, dinner was served - buffet style. We then had time to dance and enjoy the music before docking; a two hour... More

My husband and I went to celebrate being married for 17 years. We decided on the moonlight cruise. It was nice and clean. They do have snacks and drinks, but be prepared to pay top dollar for anything you buy on board. The music is nice but not too loud. They take pictures of you before you board then try... More

We were in Savannah for the NRECA Power Up Conference, and had dinner aboard the Savannah River Queen. Food was excellent, and the staff was very charming and service-oriented. Highly recommend for group parties, or just as a dinner stop for a family vacation. Scott was terrific with the group I was with, and highly complimented by everyone. Thanks for... More

They really should tell you what you might see on this tour, if you are interested in seeing a working river with all it's tired, dilapidated buildings, the underside of a bridge and some ships being loaded and unloaded then this is the tour for you. If you live near a river or have seen all this before don't bother.... More

My husband and I did the tour of the Harbor and enjoyed the tour. Great way to relax, enjoy the view and learn about the activity from the ships around the harbor as well as a little about the history of the area.

We did the Gospel Dinner Cruise. There were positives. The crew was very service oriented. We asked for different seats and they were happy to oblige. The boat is very clean and well maintained. I thought the food was quite good. It was a buffet of standard Southern staples - fried chicken, collard greens, macaroni and cheese - to name... More

There is not much to see from this river except large freight ships. It is not worth the high price. Disappointing after Charleston.

We took the riverboat tour in the pouring rain, but even with the accompanying thunder and lightening it was well worth the money. Our tour captain was amusing and very well versed and made the Savannah shoreline industries very interesting.
