The prior reviews I had read about this tour made me want to skip it, but we decided not to do that and took the riverboat tour. I am glad we did. Yes, the area you see is industrial, but it provides a lot of information and background to Savannah. The captain and staff were friendly and kept walking around... More

The tour and sights is pretty boring. The only interesting thing to us really was seeing the shipping port from a boats perspective but that makes up the entire cruise. The ticket prices are out of line for what you get. An adult ticket is $21.95. A more reasonable price for what you get is $10-$12. I won't be coming... More

went on the 'sight seeing' river cruise. But sorry, its not worth it. You go up the docks one way and back down the other way, thats it. You see ships, containers, tugs, barges, the normal stuff at docks. I should have known better. But at least i can say i did it. Cant comment on the food as we just... More

We had a wonderful lunch cruise on the Savannah Riverboat Tour. I would do it again. The meal was good.

Afternoon river tour: The tour was a short cruise along the Savannah River with historical commentary. The pros was that it offered some time for us to rest our tired feet for a bit after a lot of walking in the historical district and get some breezes off the river. Cons: We expected to see more...a good portion along the... More

We took this company's 2pm boat ride. The crew was friendly and the running commentary informative I thought the tour was too short. I would have like to have seem more of the river. It's ok but not worth the money nor the time.

We took the 7 o clock dinner cruise. Had a very nice time. Food is served in a buffet style, it was pretty good. Had three different meat options with several sides and a salad with dessert. I also ordered a mixed drink and it was very good. After dinner we sat out on the top deck and it was... More

We enjoyed our time on the Riverboat. The entire staff was pleasant, especially Joe, one of the boat engineers, and the Captain! The boat took a nice slow cruise up the river and then turned around and went back down the river in the opposite direction. The Captain narrated the tour and spoke about the history of Savannah. We had... More

We happened upon the Riverboat tour on a Sunday afternoon in mid-February and decided to take it on the spur of the moment. It was the highlight of our stay in Savannah. My husband was thrilled to have a tour of the port and the captain shared numerous historic facts about the city that we found fascinating. We did not... More

Skip it. Couldn't wait to get off that boat and see what else Savannah had to offer but I got food poisoning and was not able to see anything else for the last two days of my trip. I'm in my late 30's and took this trip with my fiancé. While walking along River Street, I suggested we take a... More
