As u walk in you are greeted with free samples of pralines. They are delicious. We got the candied nuts and truffles which were awesome. They have another store in Charleston SC. But this is there main store and it is much nicer and larger.

My first review on this site was from here in Savannah back in December of 2014. I was disappointed with another candy store that said they make the red candy apples on a certain day. I made a special trip back to that store only to find that they did not make any. I wrote that they were not the... More

When you walk in you're hit with the aroma of warm sweet treats, I couldn't pin point if it was the taffy, the pralines, the rice crispy treats, or one of the other wonderfully delicious smelling things they were making at the moment. We bought some of the chocolate drizzled caramel corn, which is highly addictive and our friends daughter... More

A must stop for Pralines (pecan)! So many types of sweets to choose from. My wife and I got a praline and favorite drink while we sat outside on River Street. The drinks and praline were so refreshing as we watched people stroll along the riverside.

Lots of different sweets but I had to try praline ice cream when I saw that. The kind you can get in the supermarket doesn't begin to compare with this fresh authentic version.

Stopped by here a couple of times while visiting Savannah. Welcome to the Wayback Machine...this reminded me of the old style Ice Cream and Candy shops of old. If you've got a hankering for something sweet, this place is a lot of fun. Well worth a stop!

We arrived at the River Street Sweets Candy Store in Savannah, Georgia after trying pecan pralines at two other locations. Without a doubt the River Street Sweets original pecan pralines, which were still warm. were the best pralines that I have ever had. I have eaten great pralines in New Orleans and in Texas, but without a doubt the River... More

I enjoyed watching the making of the taffy. There were so many flavors I had a hard time decided what to get. I got a mix. All good :)

We generally stop by the River Street Sweets when we are in Savannah. It is right on River Street where you can stroll along, pop in to lots of shops (some more touristy than others). You can get a small, free taste of their fresh made pralines. Normally we might get one to nibble on as we walk around, but... More
