Chef Darin's classes are a must for a get away weekend! A class with this personable and down to earth Chef Darin is fantastic. This Chef doesn't start his talk with, "I buy everything fresh", or by using "I" every sentence. Instead HE is a Real down to earth guy. His class flows so smooth. He guides you through so... more

My kids gave me the class about making hors d'oeuvres as a birthday gift and I loved it. Great easy -to-make yummy recipes. Two years ago they gave me the Lowcountry Cooking session and have enjoyed the results so much they sent me back for more! The classes are small and hands on and afterwards you enjoy the results of... more

My wife and I have not stopped talking about this experience. We are ready to get home from vacation and start practicing what we have learned. This experience was great as couple, you could do alone or with friends – no matter, you will enjoy it. Chef Darin is extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. He taught us technique to presentation. The... more

Chef Darin was personable, lively, and very talented in the kitchen. We not only learned how to create a truly "stress-free" thanksgiving feast to DIE for, but we also learned how to properly use cutlery, which kitchen items we really needed and which we can do without. The class was soooooo fun and the food was divine. Can't wait to... more

I went with three girlfriends and we had a great time. Darin was fun, friendly, and patient. We learned alot about simple things (knife skills, how to crack an egg, how to whisk oil and vinegar together, how to effectively brown vegetables, etc.) and the food was superb! more

Plan your trip around this class... pick one. I can't imagine any of his classes not being absolutely enjoyable. We did this in February 2009 and it is still the thing we talk about for this trip. We tell everyone. My husband walked in not very excited, even though he generally likes to cook... some... but he has walked out... more

The 700 Kitchen Cooking School was fabulous!! Chef Darin explained the whys of the foods we were making which made the steps make more sense. He showed us the proper way to hold a chef's knife and how to correctly slice and dice. We prepared a fall brunch that was absolutely delicious. I never thought I would be making a... more

The fact that I learned WHY to do things as I went along made this the most fun I had in Savannah. While I don't like grits (at all), and I'm not a huge biscuit fan, I walked away from this class having had a delicious meal and more fun than I can convey. My only regret is that we... more

My trip to Savannah would not have been complete until I attend the 700 Cooking Class given my Chef Darin. This class exceeded my expectations. I love to cook and thought I would just learn to fix a few new dishes, but NO!!! I learned so much more. Chef Darin taught use how to properly use a knife and dice... more
