I first took the Low Country cooking class. It was great. Not only did I learn things about knives, which I never knew, the class prepared several southern dishes, all of which we were able to eat and enjoy. I love the "hands on" experience in participating with the food preparation from beginning to end. I enjoyed the class so... More

We celebrated or anniversary with dinner at 700 Kitchen Cooking School. First we couldn't have spent it with a better person - Chef Peter. He was fun and informative. He never stopped giving us tips and different variations. We did the Italian class and made 3 great dishes. Let's say we won't be buying pasta ever again - we're making... More

This is honestly one of the most fun things my wife and I have done. Peter Russo is an excellent teacher/chef and makes the whole experience even better. I'm an experienced cook, while my wife doesn't really like to cook and we both had a blast! We even met people in the group that we hung out with later that... More

Chef Peter Russo's class was great! He's very knowledgeable, talented, and enthusiastic about cooking. I took the hors d'oeuvres class and everything was delicious. The setting is amazing too...a great kitchen in the beautiful Mansion on Forsyth Park. The price seemed a little high to me ($100) but it was well worth it. And this was my first experience so... Just took the Low Country cooking class with Chef Peter Russo. The class was fun and informative and I would recommend it to anyone no matter what their level of cooking skill. I learned a lot of things that I will continue to use in everyday cooking. The food that we prepared was delicious and Peter is generous about sharing... More

My husband and I attended this cooking class we had a wonderful time. He was initially nervous about attending because he has very little cooking ability. Chef Russo was an excellent teacher and was very patient with him. My husband raved about how much of a good time he had and would like to go again for another class. The... More

Thoroughly enjoyed my time with Chef Peter Russo - as it turned out, I was the lone participant that day - but Peter will take on one or many, he says he holds class regardless of its size. That being said, I had my work cut out for me - learned basics about sharpening knives and cutting onions without tears... More

Peter and his partner did an amazing job setting up the environment and generating the plan to ensure a fantastic experience and a delicious meal. They provided excellent instruction during the preparation and seemed to be in the right place at the right time to provide the help needed. Looking forward to doing this again.

I had never taken a cooking class before and wasn't sure what to expect. As it turns out, we had a wonderful time learning to make pasta and gnocchi with Chef Peter. He was patient, engaging, funny, enthusiastic...he really did a great job of customizing the class to fit our needs and interests. He was very accomodating in answering our... More
