Readying for our trip to Savannah and Tybee Island, my wife injured her knee. Instead of cancelling, we decided to come anyway but take many tours instead of walking Savannah's beautiful squares. So, we took all three local company tours: Oglethorpe's, Old Time Trolley's, and Old Savannah's, plus three different evening ghost tours, giving us a unique chance to compare... more

We had originally planned on "Oglethrope Tours" but decided to try "Old Savannah Tours" when the concierge of the inn we were staying at gave us a discount. The Trip Advisor had recommended Oglethorpe and it very well may be fantastic, but "Old Savannah Tours" was equally as nice. We saw all of the downtown historic district in a open... more

OST basically has two basic packages: the traditional 90-minute tour and the all-day On/Off package (which includes the 90-mins.). We purchased the On/Off option and it turned out to be a great choice, esp. on the tourist-heavy Saturday on Labor Day weekend. We first stayed on for about 95% of the standard tour to get a better feel of the... more

Our bus driver / tour guide (Robert Greene) gave one of the most informative, engaging tours that we've had of any city. Even our middle-school-age kids were interested in all of the history that he shared. Definitely a great experience for an overview of the city. However, after we took the tour and tried to use Old Savannah for on-off... more

If there is one place you go to in the good old US OF A it has to be Savannah, Georgia. My family and I just recently stayed in Savannah for 4 days. We went on every ghost tour, a basic tour of the town, The Riverboat cruise luncheon/tour and of course Paula Dean tour.. We were on our way... more

My husband and I just returned from Savannah. We took th On/Off Tour and Ghostly Tour with dinner at The Pirates House. We enjoyed them both. Our dinner was delicious! We were lucky to have Kathleen as our tour guide for both tours. She was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We will be back! more

We started early in the morning on the Old Savannah Tour trolley at the visitor center. We decided to use the trolley as our primary transportation for the day, getting off and on at several stops along the way to see sights we had noted on our tourist map. (The on/off ticket cost slightly more than the 90-minute tour ticket.)... more

We went on this tour to have a good time and find out about the local lore of Savannah. Because I stated, when asked by the driver, that I didn't believe in ghosts, my friends and I were treated like a lepers on this tour. Our guide refused to let us take the tour of the Pirate's House because we... more

We took the Ghost Tour with Dinner at the Pirate House. It was so-so. The tour it's self seemed a little unorganized. The tour included a tour of the Rum Cellar at the Pirate House. It looked a lot like my parents basement in the house I grew up. Not very interesting...just a dirt floor cellar. The food at the... more

I had heard so much about Savannah that while I was in Charleston this year we decided to take a day trip to Savannah. This happened to be the first place we came upon so bought our tickets. The people were nice enough, the tour informative, however the map with the bus stops really didn't match the actual stops. And... more
