The staff goes all out to make the diners feel welcome. We asked for upstairs eating because we know the acoustics are bad below, having eaten here before. My husband ordered the Redfish special and was disappointed with the glaze and quantity. We have had much better redfish elsewhere. My salmon dish was okay. We think we will skip Olde... More

Please read this whole review. We went for lunch and had a wonderful experience. First off the décor and atmosphere were very pleasant. I had the lobster rolls, full of large pieces of juicy lobster. Best lobster rolls I ever had. My wife order the lunch special of a whole flounder with apricot shallot sauce at $29.00. I mention the... More

And the downstairs bar is legendary. Pink House is frequented by locals and tourists. The downstairs bar can go quite late

The venue predates our revolution and exudes character on every floor. We did not have reservations for a birthday celebration, so ate in the basement tavern to avoid an hour long wait for a table. My wife and I shared Artichoke Fritters and the Shrimp and Scallops Fettuccine, along with a bottle of Bianchi Malbec. The from-scratch cheese straws were... More

My husband and I had dinner in the Tavern-what a GREAT meal. I must say we believe it may have been the best meal we've had and we eat out a lot. Great service and ambiance. Highly recommend!

Expensive and you must have reservations but worth it. Does not look very big from the outside but there are like 11 rooms to dine in

If I was on death row and at 3PM on the eve of my execution the warden came round and asked what my last meal request would be, it would be the Fried Chicken on the menu at this restaurant The waiter said it would be the best I ever had, he was 100 percent correct. I ate it for... More

We went twice for lunch in two days! The food was absolutely the finest example of true southern cooking (think fried green tomatoes, fried chicken, shrimp and grits) I have ever tasted. And what a gorgeous setting. The staff allows you to walk through the entire house. We were really fortunate because the upstairs ballroom was being prepared for a... More
