When in Savannah, I ALWAYS schedule a meal at the Old Pink. Yes, you absolutely need a reservation for dinner, for lunch, maybe not. The restaurant is very romantic, yet only once have I ever felt uncomfortable as a single diner. Take you time, enjoy the old house...I would suggest trying to get a table in one of the smaller... Very nice restaurant. One needs to make a reservation as soon as you arrive in Savannah, even if you plan on staying awhile. The place really books up quickly. Food is very good and the atmosphere reminds me of Commander's Palace in NO with a lot of rooms.

Food was good but not great. Large portions but nothing special about the flavors. You are certainly paying for the location, which is beautiful. Nice to see inside the old house, paintings on the walls. Should request not to sit in the "grand ballroom." It seats about 100 people, is incredibly noisy and not intimate at all. It was difficult... More

If you are going to Savannah- you should not miss the Old Pink House. Make a reservation way in advance and you won't be disappointed! The food and service is superlative! There are 18 rooms for dining. The one we were in had a fireplace and it felt small and intimate. If you want a romantic dinner- ask to have... More

We had a great time. We requested a seat downstairs when we made our reservation. We were seated in a lovely spot right next to the fireplace. The food was excellent and the service was also. When a place is "famous" it sometimes does not live up to expectations, however the Old Pink House did.

We had drinks upstairs at the bar. The bartender was great and told us some history - like why the house is pink. I had a great jalapeño margarita and he helped my friend try three different reds before she settled on a great pinot noir (even though she thought she wanted a cab). Then we snuck down to the... I reserved a table at this well-known establishment a week in advance of our trip to Savannah. I made a note that it would be my husband's birthday and I wanted it to be a special celebration. I mentioned this fact again to the hostess when we arrived early for our table. She gave us a tour of the downstairs... More

Good food. Noise level high in rooms w/large groups; smaller rooms available for smaller groups of four and under. Service was appropriate for our group of 7 and food was delicious.

My husband and I were celebrating our 30th anniversary in Savannah. I had made reservations a few weeks prior to leaving and requested to be seated in the vault to celebrate our special occasion. The house at one time housed a bank and the remaining vault is now the wine cellar. A table with 2 chairs has been placed in... More

My friends and I had a girl weekend in beautiful Savannah last year. We ate here an the food was very good. It was a weekend and was very busy (had quite a wait despite reservations). We were placed in the ballroom with about 100 other people. It was so loud in there that I couldn't hear the waiter who... More
