It was a chilly February morning when I was part of a tour at Bonaventure Cemetery tour with Shannon Scott. Having Shannon as our tour guide made it one of the most memorable parts of our trip to Savannah. He is a master storyteller, historian, and artist that made this experience incredible! From the start of the tour, we were... More

I recently took a group of artists to Savannah for the Living Studio with Jeanne Oliver. She insisted that one of our highlights would be going to the Bonaventure Cemetery. I did my research and found that we had to have Shannon Scott as our tour guide. He did not disappoint. Although it was a chilly Feb. morning, Shannon kept... More

My husband and I went to Savannah for the first time recently to celebrate our anniversary/my birthday. Went onto Groupon to get some ideas/discounts on some tours. I was able to purchase a tour with Shannon Scott for the After Hours Bonaventure Cemetery Tour, however I didn't read the small print which stated that I had to make reservations at... More

If you want to learn the history of a place, take a tour. If you want to learn the history of the individuals of that place, take a cemetery tour. But only if your tour guide is informed, entertaining, and loves what he does. Shannon Scott is just such a guide who loves to share his knowledge of the unique... More

My wife and I have lived in Savannah for 10 years and have really tried to learn as much about the city as possible. We've read historical narratives, non-fiction and fictional novels and biographies. We've been on ghost tours and fort tours and all kinds of festivals throughout the city and surrounding counties. We've been to every museum and visited... More

My friend and I took Shannon Scott's daytime Bonaventure Cemetery tour while visiting Savannah. The cemetery is like a beautiful sculpture garden, and what a fascinating way to learn about all the key figures that shaped the history of this beautiful southern city. Shannon makes each of their personalities come alive once more with his colorful storytelling. This is such... More

My husband and I bought tickets to this tour, because I had, had, had to see Bonaventure this time in Savannah. I chose from the few walking guided tours of Bonaventure on a weekday in February. I picked this one, because I had read reviews and they raved about it. Got a little nervous finding the spot, but directions in email... More

If you go to Savannah Georgia, you must make a trip to the Bonaventure Cemetery and do the tour with Shannon Scott. He is an amazing story teller and will hold your attention throughout the tour. His strong voice and attention to detail is not boring or tiring.

This is a 2 to 2 1/2 hour walking tour. Shannon is a historian, author and storyteller. You receive information that is on legal documents as well as the myths and legends. Love the cemetery and Shannon made it even more enchanting
