Bonaventure is a must-see in savannah. The visit is incomplete, however, without having backstories of the individuals buried there. That said, shannon had endless stories and gave a lot of details that made the visit unforgettable. I went on the 10 am tour and while it was worth every penny, I would suggest that you try to get in on... More

Shannon was very knowledgable an engaging. He was a walking textbook of knowledge about the Bonaventure Cemetery. This was our second trip and Shannon told us things we missed the first time.

What a wonderful experience! My wife and I toured with Shannon a while back.(I know, I know but better late than never) We toured with his Bonaventure After Dark group. Wonderful stories weaved together with the narrative of the cemetery and it's long history led to a magical evening. Dinner at the Sister of The New South followed with more... More

My husband and I booked the after hours evening Bonaventure tour with Shannon Scott and loved it! it was magical and serene being on the grounds as the sun was going down. Our tour guide, Shannon Scott, did this research and had captivating, well told, stories of those currently laid to rest in Bonaventure. I would absolutely recommend to anyone... More

My mom sis and I went to Savannah for the historical sites and I was obsessed with Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil- amazing book btw. We took a tour with Shannon Scott- we were not disappointed. Shannon is amazing - We could have listened for hours to the history, scandals and craziness of the Savannians( is that... More

Shannon truly loves cemeteries, history and literature and he gives us the full benefit of his encyclopedic knowledge in an engaging and entertaining tour. He brings the dearly departed to life with stories uncovered by his own research. This is the best way to learn about all of the colorful, historical and infamous characters of Savannah.

This tour was without a doubt the best part of our trip to Savannah. His ability to craft and deliver stories while throwing in a bit of humor was truly... More

My husband and I enjoyed this tour so much! Shannon is a fantastic historical story-teller. The pace was perfect and he was totally engaging and enthralling. This should be top of your list for Savannah sight-seeing.

While some families may not be comfortable doing this with their kids, our 9 & 12 year old boys loved it! Shannon was a great and informative storyteller. It was fantastic to hear the history of some of the current residents of Bonaventure. He mixed in facts, with rumor, humor, and a little bit of fear in a perfect blend... More

My husband and I booked a tour of Bonaventure Cemetery on a whim and are thrilled that we did. Our tour guide, Shannon, was knowledgeable about, not only the history contained within the cemetery itself, but the history of Savannah in general. Exploring Bonaventure on our own, as we originally intended to do, would have been satisfying. There are endless... More
