Several of my friends and I took the daytime tour with Shannon Scott. All of us have recently moved to Savannah, and we greatly enjoyed learning both about the cemetery and the history of Savannah as related to this beautiful, peaceful cemetery. The stories that Shannon offered were both educational and captivating. This is a definite MUST for your Savannah... More

We were in Savannah to celebrate St. Patrick's Day this past year (2012). The weather was wonderful - just the right temperature. I had been to Bonaventure Cemetery before, but never after the gates had closed. The atmosphere was perfect. The azaleas were blooming fiery reds and pinks throughout. Shannon was a great guide, treating our trip through the cemetery... More

Be sure to Google "Shannon Scott Bonaventure After Hours Tour". He will take you on a tour of the cemetery after closing and the history he can share with you is amazing. Also, he offers dinner afterwards for an extra charge, but definitely partake because he will share more interesting personal accounts and fun artifacts he has come across in... More

Really enjoyed the beautiful Bonaventure for our morning tour. Shannon Scott is very knowledgeable and a great storyteller. We really learned alot about the symbolism of the gravesites and the history even though we are residents. Highly recommend Shannon's tour! More

It is unfortunate that the ladies had a mis-communication in the previous review because my daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our Bonaventure Cemetery Tour with Scott Shannon. There is a lot of walking around to the different burial sites for which we were told a lot of history surrounding some of the deaths of persons buried there. His passion about... More

We found Shannon Scott very interesting and informative! he went out of his way to answer any and all questions, you can tell that he has devoted many many hours to research, and he is very honest in that he seems to tell you the true stories even if they may not be what Savanah Society would have you to... We booked our tour a week before traveling from Alabama to Savannah and , gave Shannon Scott our credit card number and was told the Chatham cab company would pick us up at 1:30 at the Pirate House. At 1:45, we were finally able to get the Chatham Cab Company and was told that Shannon Scott hadn't told him about... More

What can I say, but off day? I had one, I admit it. Usually there is a morning tour or an afternoon one, and my ticket vendor kicks me an automated email showing me the day's itinerary. I received the email but saw no tours for the day. So this situation very much miffed me. So much so that I... More

Incredible stories if you take Scott Shannon's Dinner and a Cemetery Tour. If you love history and a bit of the paranormal, take this tour and visit this huge cemetery. There are so many stories there and the serenity and beauty is awesome. The sculptures in the plats are well worth the walk--wear comfortable shoes and take some bug spray. More

Six of us just had a terrific tour of Bonaventure Cemetery, led by Shannon Scott. In his relaxed and knowledgeable way, Shannon tells the histories of the famous, the almost-famous, and the little-known local favorites. We had 2 hours of gentle walking and loads of intriguing stories. Shannon arranged our whole outing, from the van that met us by the... More
