The public squares don't disappoint. I read about them years ago, and finally got to see them. Most of them are lush with beautiful trees dripping with Spanish moss. Across from the parks are mostly beautiful homes and houses of worship. A real treat to explore by foot, car or trolley. More

My wife and I took a trolley tour of the historic district but old Savannah is only about 3/4 mile wide and quite walkable. You can take the 90 minute or get on and off to sightsee at your own pace. The waterfront is very colourful. More

Take a bus tour or park and walk. The architecture, gardens, retaurants, shops and overall ambiance are great. More
