Suzanne of First City Walks earnestly tried to accommodate our short notice trip (less than a week) to Savannah. Due to Federal Government sequestration impacts this year, this was a last minute plan to attend a technical business conference. Due to the short time (3-1/2 days) in Savannah, and our availability only on the afternoon of our travel day, we... More

This is an interesting and informative walking tour of historic Savannah. Suzanne is a knowledable and enthusiastic tour guide who really knows Savannah history. The pace is just right and the tour is about two hours (unlike some others, which last only 90 minutes). Beware, however, that on a hot day a two hour tour can be a little uncomfortable... More

We were in Savannah for one night on our way down to Orlando and luckily managed to fit in an early Sunday morning tour in with Suzanne. I was a bit concerned that I had my 71 year old mother with me and how she would fare through these old street for 2 hours but was pleasantly surprised. Suzanne was... More

Nothing beats a walking tour of this interesting town, and Suzanne's love of the town and it's history comes shining through. Friendly yet professional, she knows her stuff. I wholeheartedly recommend her.

Well…if you’re looking for a tour lead buy an old-time Savannah native, this is not your tour. Our guide was from Long Island. And, while this in itself is not enough to cause me to steer clear, her defense of union General Sherman’s actions was, well, down right blasphemous. Along the tour, she noted the former residence of a “famous”... More

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour of Savannah. The city has so much history, the best way by far to experience it is to walk (you could simply never see all the amazing details by trolley). Suzanne was a truly wonderful tour guide, she was very knowledgeable about the city and pointed out so many things we never would have even... More

We loved the tour of Savannah with Suzanne. She talked with us and found out our interests and personalized the tour by pointing out things we would like. Her knowledge of the area is amazing and her suggestions/recommendations for other things in the area were spot on. I really liked hearing the history of Savannah and walking through the squares... Suzanne is an excellent tour guide and very knowledgeable about the city. My husband and I were the only ones on her tour so the personal attention she gave to us and the city made the experience all the more worthwhile. She is the owner of the company so is always the tour guide. We had no need or desire... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Suuzanne. It was easy walking and a great way to see the city. Suzanne obviously loves what she does and was filled with valuable info and anecdotes. Well worth the money.

We had a great tour with Suzanne. We saw many things that I know we would have missed if we had gone on our own. Suzanne has a real knack for detail. We had great fun learning about the history of Savannah. She was helpful with suggestions on what to see and do during the rest of our stay -... More
