Description: Enjoy Savannah on foot and from a native's perspective! No gimmicks...
Enjoy Savannah on foot and from a native's perspective! No gimmicks, costumes, or schtick- just a guide who knows her stuff. Bonnie will show you how to be more than a tourist by helping you discover there's more to Savannah. Book in advance if you would like to join your fellow travelers on one of Bonnie's public tours. Group sizes are limited so you won't get lost in the crowd. Cover all the basics after breakfast and before lunch on the Slo-vannah Saunter. Or you could wait until the late afternoon for a sophisticated and slightly lubricated experience with drinks in hand on Lightly Sauced- Raise a Glass to History. Wondering why this place has a reputation for being so haunted? Then wait until nightfall for the Ghost Lore Walking Tour! Bonnie also loves private bookings and is available at your convenience. She can customize a tour to your interests across a variety of subjects from a general historical overview, to Black history, women's history, the Civil War, the Revolution, a little bit of architecture, etc. The guide comes to you and you even get to choose how long the tour lasts. Often available on short notice. Go ahead and call!

We were referred to Bonnie Terrell at Bonnie Blue Tours, and spent three hours with her on a walking tour. She has a wonderful grasp of the history of this nearly 300-year-old city represented by the 22 squares in the Historic District. Bonnie brought life to each of the dozen or so squares we visited, along with their monuments, and... More

Bonnie was friendly, relaxed, and has a natural talent for compelling presentation. However, the most defining characteristic of her presentation is her fantastic depth of knowledge. It is clear that she has really hit the books hard and mastered the history of her city. For example, I made an off-hand comment about Savannah being a port for shipping containers. Bonnie... More

Bonnie knows her stuff! She did get a little confused about our metting place and was about 10 minutes late as a result, but she more than made up for it. We ended up getting a little extra time. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a private tour!

We told Bonnie to give us the fire hose history tour of Savannah in 3 hours, and she nailed it.

My wife and I, together with another couple, totally enjoyed out 2-hour tour with Bonnie. We were very impressed with the scope and depth of knowledge she shared. As a native of Savannah and one with many books on the city, my wife was pleased to learn a good bit of new information. The other couple (guests from Atlanta) told... More

I booked a 3-hour private walking tour with my husband and parents. If it were just my husband and I, we would be giving Bonnie a much higher rating. However, my parents are much more conservative, traditional and refined being in their late 60s and early 70s and coming from respectable families. Upon arrival, Bonnie looked a little ragged. Her... In my dedication to providing accurate information and solid history, I am almost entirely focused on content and less so on packaging. It was quite cold that day and I was wearing the only outer garment I currently possess, the aforementioned sweater, to keep the cold from cutting through the (perfectly respectable) black jacket I had on underneath. I also... More

We did a two hour tour with Bonnie just before Christmas, and not knowing anything about Savannah, asked her to just pick out her favorite highlights. We covered a lot of ground and a lot of history, but it seemed that it was only a short walk from one highlight to the next. We would highly recommend her tour.

Because of my hearing issues I decided to book a private tour with Bonnie rather than deal with a larger group and possibly not hearing everything. This was one of my best decisions while in Savannah. Bonnie not only gave us an excellent tour for 4 hours but she was very respectful and tried hard to stay placed where I... More

We were only in Savannah for a couple of days so we wanted a tour that was "complete" yet wouldn't take all day. Bonnie was very accommadating. She met us at a location of our choice and customized a walking tour that took 1 1/2 hrs. Very informative! Bonnie was great!
