Owner description: Enjoy Savannah on foot and from a native's perspective! No gimmicks, costumes, or schtick- just a guide who knows her stuff. Bonnie will show you how to be more than a tourist by helping you discover there's more to Savannah. Book in advance if you would like to join your fellow travelers on one of Bonnie's public tours. Group sizes are limited so you won't get lost in the crowd. Cover all the basics after breakfast and before lunch on the Slo-vannah Saunter. Or you could wait until the late afternoon for a sophisticated and slightly lubricated experience with drinks in hand on Lightly Sauced- Raise a Glass to History. Wondering why this place has a reputation for being so haunted? Then wait until nightfall for the Ghost Lore Walking Tour! Bonnie also loves private bookings and is available at your convenience. She can customize a tour to your interests across a variety of subjects from a general historical overview, to Black history, women's history, the Civil War, the Revolution, a little bit of architecture, etc. The guide comes to you and you even get to choose how long the tour lasts. Often available on short notice. Go ahead and call!

I booked a private two hours walking tour with Bonnie as a birthday present for my wife. Along with my wife and myself, our 6 year old daughter was on the tour as well. Since both of my girls are ghost hunters, the main topic of our tour was centralized around ghost stories. However, Bonnie also incorporated a lot of... More

We had scheduled a haunted walking tour and daytime walking tour with Bonnie. We had a great expereince with Bonnie. We enjoyed her ghost stories that she told us about Savannah. The stories were insighful and she provided us with interesting information from her own personal experiences living in Savannah. During the daytime walking tour, Bonnie shared a great deal... More

We have visited Savannah several times in recent years and this is the third walking tour we've taken. The "Lightly Sauced" tour is the perfect combination of history and cocktails for adults who want a memorable evening activity. Bonnie's knowledge of Savannah and it's history is vast. She gives a great overview on the tour. Her selection of cocktails to... More

Bonnie was very sweet and knowledgable! She knows her town for sure! She was down to earth and I never seen anyone that could look at you talk and walk backwards on those uneven sidewalks like she could! She was excellent and we will look her up when we return! Thank's Bonnie!

We have a group of six widespread ladies who get together one weekend per year, and this year we descended upon Savannah. We wanted part ghost tour, also something to include architecture and history, but nothing cheesy or scripted. We are a loud, boisterous group, and we really didn't want to interfere with a group tour in case we got... More

While in town on vacation (with my husband and 3-year old daughter) we did a two-hour tour with Bonnie and were extremely happy with our experience. I'd asked Bonnie to compile a sort of "best of" tour that also included more-or-less untold women's and African American histories of the city. Although Savannah is brimming with history and stories, Bonnie did... More

I've taken a few tours with Bonnie when my family has come to town. There are many reasons this is the best tour you will find in the area. First of all, Bonnie is educated in history. Yes, that's her major. You won't catch her telling the same stale stories you hear when the other tours pass by. Secondly her... More

We booked a walking ghost tour with Bonnie for 8pm. Unfortunately, about half an hour in we got stuck in an epic thunderstorm! This didn't deter Bonnie at all - she just adapted to the situation and modified the tour as needed. We ended up going for coffee and waiting out the weather. She then carried on with the rest... Left Savannah with lots of history. Bonnie is knowledgeable and presents her history in a fun way. Bonnie grew up in Savannah and knows much about it's history. Rain made no difference. Bonnie brought out her umbrella and kept going. Can not imagine a tour being better. Will utilize her again and again. Would certainly recommend all types of tours.... More
