Description: Enjoy Savannah on foot and from a native's perspective! No gimmicks...
Enjoy Savannah on foot and from a native's perspective! No gimmicks, costumes, or schtick- just a guide who knows her stuff. Bonnie will show you how to be more than a tourist by helping you discover there's more to Savannah. Book in advance if you would like to join your fellow travelers on one of Bonnie's public tours. Group sizes are limited so you won't get lost in the crowd. Cover all the basics after breakfast and before lunch on the Slo-vannah Saunter. Or you could wait until the late afternoon for a sophisticated and slightly lubricated experience with drinks in hand on Lightly Sauced- Raise a Glass to History. Wondering why this place has a reputation for being so haunted? Then wait until nightfall for the Ghost Lore Walking Tour! Bonnie also loves private bookings and is available at your convenience. She can customize a tour to your interests across a variety of subjects from a general historical overview, to Black history, women's history, the Civil War, the Revolution, a little bit of architecture, etc. The guide comes to you and you even get to choose how long the tour lasts. Often available on short notice. Go ahead and call!

Bonnie took us on a private tour for 3 hours. We wanted to spend more time walking through the city than the usual 2 hour tour. it was a wonderful visit. Bonnie told us facts of Revolutionary and Civil War times in Savannah. More importantly, she provided context with in depth discussion, weaving a tapestry of what was going on... More

Bonnie did an outstanding job on our walking tour of Savannah. She is filled with information on the history, architecture and people of Savannah. We spent three hours seizing the historic sites of Savannah and hearing in depth details of the people. Who built and lived in theses homes.an excellent tour at a reasonable price.

Brilliant, entertaining, and made us fall in love with James Oglethorpe. We could have walked two more hours just to see Savannah's history and stunning architecture through Bonnie's eyes. We learned so much and had a great time. Bonnie is the best attraction in Savannah.

We got Bonnie's name from Don, our outstanding guide on the Bonaventure Dash Tour. We really, really enjoyed Don's ability to hold our interest using factual information rather than using exaggeration and just plain legend. So, at the end of the cemetery tour, when Don gave everyone a list of other quality sites and tours, we paid attention. Happily, Bonnie... More

We agree with the others who said Bonnie's tour was not only highly informative but also entertaining. You probably won't have a better walking tour anywhere. Like a fine wine, Bonnie's stories leave a pleasant taste.

Bonnie is a remarkable tour guide! Her knowledge of Savannah history is quite amazing. She is professional, fun and extremely courteous. Having had total knee replacement surgery makes walking challenging, but lots of benches to rest and she was patient with me. She has wonderful stories about Savannah. Please call her upon your arrival in Savannah, you will learn a... More

Thanks for your kind words! It's important to me that people know having physical limitations does not necessarily mean they cannot enjoy the city up close and on foot. My private tours are an especially good choice because anyone can choose a length of time and pace that works best for their needs. And, of course, there are so many... More

Bonnie gave an information-packed, engaging tour of downtown Savannah and many of its squares. She graciously scheduled a tour at the last minute when my plans changed, and included a great deal of info about colonial and revolutionary era Savannah. I recommend her highly!

I booked a private two hours walking tour with Bonnie as a birthday present for my wife. Along with my wife and myself, our 6 year old daughter was on the tour as well. Since both of my girls are ghost hunters, the main topic of our tour was centralized around ghost stories. However, Bonnie also incorporated a lot of... More
