You definitely have to pass through this once while you are here. It has some nice shops and places to eat (both high end and casual). The carriage rides also originate here. more

We stayed at the Doubletree Hotel just a block away and on our walk back from dinner at Bistro Savannah (best place we ate in Savannah) we found nearly all the shops open at 9 PM on a Friday night. Never had much chance to shop. Once we heard Bucky and Barry's music it was all over. We spent the first afternoon and the last listening to great music in a beautiful city. more
