A fun place to visit to shop, eat, quench your thirst, and be entertained. Several art galleries are located at the City Market. Two of our favorite stops were the Alix Baptiste Art Gallery and the Savannah Candy Kitchen - great products and good friendly people!

The shops which line the city market are great. Numerous bars and restaurants with outdoor seating areas. Live music on the weekends. Great place for couples and families to hang out and unwind.

City Market is a collection of shopping. It does not have the same genteel vibe as the rest of the historic district. I am sure it is a great stop for some but I was not impressed

Lots of shops for the shoppers! We buzzed in and out many of them, enjoying art, accessories, etc. It is a blur as I look back and nothing stands out. It was a good way to spend the morning but doubt we would go back again. Guess we are past the age of buy, buying! It was very walkable.

City Market has so much to see and do. All types of restaurants and stores from local specialty stores to national name brand stores. Absolutely love City Market.

We hoped the art galleries in the City Market would have some quality work, but it is just tourist art - not very good quality and plenty pricey. Look elsewhere.

The Market was right around the corner from our hotel and it reminded me of a downsized version of Quincy Market in Boston, a mix of eateries shops and galleries. There was music being played and folks were enjoying the space.

This is a great area not far from Bay Street and was within walking distance of where we stayed (the Holiday Inn Express) in the historic district. There are some restaurants there (we ate at Belford's) and a few shops plus the three times I have been there, they have had musicians playing at one end of where the street... More

Not sure why they call this a city market. Some good restaurants and a few shops, but no market that I saw.
