There are not too many attractions that are worth traveling 300 miles to visit. Savannah Dan is definitely one of those. This was our second tour and we learned more about the history, people and food in this town. We were somewhat expecting this tour to duplicate the first one and were pleasantly surprised that 60% of the information was... More

Dan gave a lot of history in our walk through down town Savannah. Needless to say he has a lot of historical knowledge, and presented it in an entertaining way. Since there is so much to see, walking was a good way to see the sights. The fee was a voluntary donation.

We toured with Savannah Dan in April 2015. The walking tour was really interesting; you learn a lot about the history of the city. I'm glad we did this instead of getting on a trolley; this is more personal and you get a lot more information, plus you can ask questions. Highly recommend.

This was two hours of fun. Savannah Dan mixed humor and history in such a way that kept us interested and entertained. And you might think he is acting, but we spent 15 minutes with him after the tour asking him questions and he was the same person. He is extremely knowledgeable about Savannah and its history. The next day... More

Dan looked like a Southern Gentleman and his tour was very interesting. He made suggestions of sites we might like to visit which we did. The tour was easy walking and enjoyable

We enjoyed this very informative and entertaining tour of the historic district. Savannah Dan knows his stuff and even welcomed our dog, Tillie. The pace was relaxing, the information was interesting, and the time passed quickly. We felt it was a great way to introduce ourselves to Savannah and it inspired us to go back and visit a few sites... More

Savannah Dan is a fantastic tour guide: he has a way of connecting with a broad range of people and intrest levels, from the informed history buff to the bored teen ager...we learned so much, we had fun, we enjoyed his company, we were intrigued to explore more of Savannah on our own...everything you want from a walking tour! HIGHLY... More

Savannah Dan conducts an informative and entertaining walking tour of Savannah that gave me the feeling that I indeed knew the city and it's history so well that I gain a greater understanding of the feel of how it felt to live there.

This guy was fantastic! He was an excellent speaker and used things such as humor, pauses, body language, voice etc. better than any tour guide I've ever experienced - and I do public speaking for a living, so I'm hard to impress:)! The time flew by. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a quick study on this amazing historical gem... More
