Decided to take a tour and Savannah Dan seemed like the type of tour guide we would like. Great choice! Savannah Dan is a true southern gentleman and does a great job of presenting Savannah's history. He has a good sense of humor and gives excellent recommendations on where to eat and what to see in the city. If you... More

Savannah Dan puts on a really good show! He dresses the part of a southern gentleman, speaks in the vernacular and can mimic famous voices, turns history into drama and brings Savannah's past to life. His tour is a combination of street theater and education. He is the best live entertainment in town. If history was taught this way in... More

Savannah Dan walking tours are amazing! Dan knows everything about Savannah and makes it a very exciting 2 hours. He knows every bit of history that has built the town, from the very begging to the present. There is never a dull moment during this tour. If I where ever in Savannah again, I would probably take it again.

We did this tour on a glorious October day! Met Savannah Dan at Johnson Square and he was a most knowledgeable man. Besides the historical aspects of the tour, he gave people staying in Savannah insights into places to eat, and just have fun. He introduced us to Leopold's (see the review). The tour lasted about 2 hours costs $25.00... More

We went to Savannah for the weekend with guests from London. We met Dan on Friday morning for the 10am tour. It was all we wanted and expected, and more. Dan knows the city well, and shared a number of wonderful stories, both fun and historical, about locations and events. Dan also had wonderful restaurant recommendations and was more than... More

We went on Savannah Dan's walking tour Sept 22, and had a great time. After seeing that Savannah Dan's tours were highly regarded, and another tourist recommending this tour having just come from it, I knew I had to try it myself. Savannah Dan is so knowledgeable and passionate about the city's history and landmarks - and has quite the... More

While planning our trip to Savannah my wife searched Trip Advisor and the web for a tour guide. I wasn't too interested in a walking tour but told my wife Savannah Dan looks like a proper Southern Gentleman and would be the only guide I would want a tour from. For various reasons we never planned a guided tour prior... More

My boyfriend and I took Savannah Dan's tour on the Friday before Labor Day Weekend, and it was the absolute perfect beginning to our first stay in Savannah. Dan's enthusiasm, knowledge of the city's history, and humor made the tour so much fun! We honestly wanted to take him with us for the rest of the trip. This tour has... More

Savannah Dan provides a great overview of Savannah's historic district. He offers the perfect balance of historical perspective and interesting stories in an entertaining package. It was a fun way to see the squares, churches, and historical homes. You can't go wrong with this tour!

Stylish, informative and good fun. We thoroughly enjoyed it and after doing the walking tour felt no need to take the Trolley tour. We subsequently found Dan's dining and other recommendations to be valid.
