Mr. Joe & Mrs. Barbara are gracious hosts! They invite you into their kitchen and provide life lessons as an added bonus! The cuisine is the finest available! The friendly atmosphere and delectable wine selection adds to the experience!! A must when in savannah!!

Chef Joe has a cozy place that seats about 15 people circled around his kitchen. He prepares a wonderful meal in front of you, and explains the recipes and cooking tips of how he prepares it. While I have sat near kitchens in other restaurants, I have never had such a unique experience watching a chef prepare every dish, inserting... More

I went to Chef Joe with a private group (max 20 can sit at the large table/bar). I live in Savannah and had never eaten there before. While Lady & Sons is better known, this is MUCH BETTER FOOD! This is not a restaurant--this is a demonstration cooking school where Chef Joe prepares and explains the food, and then his... More

Hands down, the most incredible meal I've ever eaten. I thought that it being a southern meal, it'd be great comfort food. It was so much better than that. The flavors are out of this world! Eating a salad w Joe's buttermilk dressing is something I will never forget! A salad! And the pound cake.. Everything was incredible. Joe is... More

I recently attended Chef Randall's cooking school while visiting Savannah with my girlfriend, mom, & stepfather. We all had a blast with Chef Randall and Barbara. The food was to die for and was overall a wonderful unforgettable experience!

We booked Chef Joe Randall's as it seemed like it would be an fun and entertaining evening. The menu which you can check in advance on the web site sounded so delicious. We were a little skeptical when we arrived in Savannah as not many seemed to know much about this gem. Well, our reservations were soon put to bed... More

When we arrived we were welcomed by Chef Joe and his gracious wife Barbara. They were slicing and dicing fresh veggies for the first course a warm delicious corn and crab chowder, followed by the most wonderful fried green tomatoes on Bibb lettuce with the best buttermilk dressing I've ever had. The pork loin with apple chutney, mashed potatoes, macaroni and... More

Attending Chef Joe’s Cooking Class was one of our trip’s highlights for my husband and I while in Hilton Head Island, SC. When we decided to drive up to Savannah for the day and I knew this was something that I wanted to do and I’m so glad we did. My husband and I had a really good time with... More
