We tried Byrd cookies when we visited Savannah last week. The cookies are very small and I bought 4 bags (8 oz each) for $25. I felt that was pretty expensive for what you get. The cookies are crunchy and would make a nice gift. My family is just not crazy about them.

We had the pleasure of having Byrd Cookies at our booth for an exhibit. Having not ever heard of them, they had their signature cookie,Scotch Oatmeal, at our booth and it was difficult to not keep eating them as they were amazing. Speaking to the rep, he told me of their shop and I had to stop in. Even if... More

I did not understand what all the hype was about over these tiny little cookies. They are small- about the size of a quarter. They let you sample the cookies so you know what you are buying. The chocolate chip are delish. Crunchy but the chocolate chips melt in your mouth. I cannot stop eating them! I also bought the... More

Great place to stock up on little cookies and things. Every flavor is available for sampling and I've always brought home goodies for friends and family.

Having been born and raised in Savannah, Byrd's cookies were always part of growing up. We even had them to sell in our neighborhoods for school projects in elementary school. I can still recall the sweet smell of fresh baked oatmeal cookies at Charles Ellis Elementary School in the 1950s when they would deliver them to us based on our... More

This came as a local citizen recommendation. You can't just eat one cookie. When I walked into Byrd's I was determined to not get my favorite cookie of all time... Chocolate Chip Cookies. These bite size crispy goodness are delicious. I'm eating the cookies as we speak and I've realized I'm half way finished. Oh, no. No worries for me.... More

Yes, the cookie shop has a sample bar. How neat is that? This is a great way to try before you buy. The cookies are like crispy vanilla wafers but in a variety of flavors. There are also a few savory flavors, which I didn't try because of all the sweet flavors. The cookies are pretty reasonably priced, and shipping... More

It's been over a week since my trip to Savannah and people in California are still thanking me for bringing these sugary confections home. I brought my Dad a bag of the Ginger Snaps home... Gone within days and he would not share with my Mom! lol. These cookies are miniature, pop in your mouth, and not fresh out of... More

Had never visited Savannah before - walked in and was barely even greeted by the employees - we walked around and decided to purchase some of the lemon cookies. The cashier almost seemed irritated that we interrupted her conversation with a co-worker. She barely said "thank you" when we purchased. The cookies were amazing, but I wouldn't go back in... More

I visited Byrd Cookie Company while in Savannah for the St. Patrick's Day Festival. I sampled several of the cookies including the Key Lime, Lemon Tart, and the Red Velvet. They were all were quite delicious. They even had gluten free cookies. I probably would have bought some if not for the tourist-like prices. Great experience non-the-less.
