Cookies of ALL different flavors! We tried some that I would have sworn I wouldn't like...but did!! Not a big fan of key lime, but loved the key lime cookies! Ended up buying three tins! The staff was super nice, let us try almost every cookie they had!!

Byrd Cookie Company's store on Waters Avenue, located adjacent to the Byrd cookie factory, offers tasty treats to sample and purchase. The cookies are great, featuring traditional Southern coastal ingredients, including pecans, key lime and benne (sesame). The store also offers Savannah themed gifts and books. The staff is exceptionally friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about Byrd's product lines. The store... More

I'd never heard of these cookies. Wow! I'm not a huge sweets person, but I fell in love with the way their very friendly staff allows you to taste the various flavors at the cookie tasting counter (sort of like a wine tasting experience) and what's tough is deciding which ones not to buy. There are all sorts of gift... More

I recognized the cookie company because Paula Deen uses their Key Lime cookies as the base for her mini Key Lime cheesecakes. She raved about them on one of her cooking shows a few years ago. My friend and I stopped in Byrd's Liberty St location on a cold, gray Saturday afternoon. The associate said she had more samples in... More

My wife enjoyed herself so much. Like a little kid. Loved it! Entertaining and enjoyable. Not over priced. Fun to step inside...though not to buy something. We had to.

Yes, one of the hardest parts of visiting was deciding what delicious cookie to take home! We sampled the Georgia Peach and Key Lime Cooler. Ultimately we went with Georgia Peach as it fit our visit. Prices are VERY reasonable. Service is WONDERFUL! Overall, if you like quality cookies - stop here!

This cute shop in the City Market offers small cookies and some savory biscuits as well. They allow you to try all the different kinds. I tried the first three and thought they were great, but then I tried more and eventually it became difficult to choose which ones to get! They are small bite sized cookies and they taste... More

Walked in to this store with no intention of buying anything, because a cookie is a cookie, right? WRONG! They hand out samples & sample, we did. Tried the key lime (very good), LUVED the Georgia Peach cookies & ended up buying the lemon tart cookies. The chocolate chip cookies were very good, too! Will return to buy more before... More

Stopped in on a whim. Well, now we make it a point to stop when we come through on trips. The Best cookies. As for gift cookies, these are a real gift, nit the "oh I forgot to get you something gift". If someone gives you these cookies, they LOVE you. Staff here was so friendly and helpful. A favorite... Hubby and I stumbled upon this (their factory store ) as we walked the City Market district of Savannah, also near River Street. The display window stated, "Free samples". We really had NO intention of making a purchase because we had eaten our quota of sweets/ high calorie foods for the day but wanted a taste. I'd almost have to... More
