I wouldn't pay to go back. The only thing of great interest was the bird girl which we couldn't even take a picture of. We are not art people I guess, but there was not much of it to see. more

I found the three Telfair Museums to be excellent for a small town....even for a larger town. There is so much true history in Savannah that the Museums really play on local history and state artists. If you are interested in either one of those than they are worth it.....Don't expect the MOMA but it is worth it to see... more
We visited both museum venues and neither of them were special. The modern portion - The Jepson Center - had some down right disturbing pieces (probably the intent!). If you've visited some of the world's better known museums, these are not worth your time or money. However, we did enjoy the Owens-Thomas House that was part of the package -... more
You can buy a ticket to all 3 of these for $15. The original (old) mansion museum has traditional art and some fine impressionist paintings. It is worth a pass through if you like to visit museums and like art. This is the one with the Bird Girl statue. The "new" Jepson museum has modern art and is very cold... more

This is a great place to spend an hour. The two rooms that are restored from the original house are spectacular and the remaining pieces are pleasant if not spectacular. The combination admission ticket (with the Owens-Thomas House) for $12.00 is a bargain. more
Well worth the time! A lovely selection of paintings.Exquisite displays of china,cutlery and other dining accessories.Beautiful furniture exhibits.I did not want to leave!The staff were knowledgeable and friendly.It was a great experience and I recommend the museum as a "must see"stop on any Savannah tour!Anita Michaels more
