This is a very beautiful building. Acoustics are excellent and the way the seating is arranged there are very few poor seats. We saw The Producers several years ago and Chicago on 3/7/15. Both excellent productions. Location is close to Inner Harbor. Tickets can be bought on line and seating is really great. I suggest you get tickets way in... More

This was our first visit to the Hippodrome but it won't be our last. The theater is very easy to get to. If you park in the garage...you can get to the lobby without going out onto the street. Not only is this safer, but it keeps you from having to deal with a coat. The lobby is spacious &... More

I've seen many a show in this establishment and I love the acoustics and atmosphere. I have seen the nutcracker Tony Bennet and even Susie Orman . The seats are smaller and tight but all are good in the house. There are some speakers hanging on stage left and right that can impede to view if you go too far... More

My daughter took me to this beautiful charming theatre for a mother daughter get together. This theatre just has such charm, the red velvet seat are close but comfortable, the show price very good, for the on stage performance. If you are in or around Baltimore this is the place to go. Inner Harbor is close, convention center also. The... More

Some friends and I had a negative experience a few months back, but tonight was much improved. Ushers were kind--even seemed to be enjoying their posts--and we had a much better tome as a result. We saw Newsies, which was a fabulous show! Perhaps it helped that the ushers seemed excited about the show. I am much more likely to... More

My wife and I spent an evening at the ballet here while at a conference in Baltimore, and it was delightful. The theatre has been wonderfully restored, the seating was comfortable, the directions by the staff fine in finding everything, the prices decent, ... , all in all, a great time. A note of caution in walking back to a... More

My friend and I went to see The I Love Lucy Stage play at the Hippodrome in Baltimore, it was wonderful. This isn't the first show that I've seen at this venue, but everytime I come back I marvel at the high, carved ceilings, the plush red velvet seats, and of course the gorgeous chandelier. What a place to see... More

This was out first time for a show. We saw I Love Lucy. It was a great time. Easy to find, close to parking, and super clean. Staff was all friendly and helpful. We sat in the middle of the upper balcony and the seats were wonderful. Seats are a little tight but comfortable. Would go again!

This theater, in my opinion, offers the best lineup of musicals in the Baltimore area. I like the fact that they have a parking garage that attaches directly to the theater as well. (I never knew this could be considered a "privilege" for a theater, but among some of the ones I've been to in a downtown setting, it is.)... More

I've been a season subscriber to the Hippodrome two years in a row now. I've been here probably a dozen times for random broadway shows/plays. I absolutely love it. It's easy to access, just a few blocks from 395. The parking garage is connected to the rear of the theater, so you can avoid bad weather. The interior is beautifully... More
