This was my first time seeing a show at Center Stage and I was thoroughly pleased. I saw Pride and Prejudice which was excellent in itself, but I loved how before the show part of the cast came out and mingled with the audience. The cast hosted a ball in the lobby and invited people to dance with them. This... More

I'm embarrassed to say that a recent visit to the Center Stage (for Pride and Prejudice) in Baltimore was the first time we had been to this small, Baltimore theater. The venue is a combination of two (or more) older buildings and has fine acoustics and well-organized crowd flow. The theater has a downstairs bar and a rather good upstairs... More

Our fried treated us to an evening at Center Stage. We attended a Play Lab and heard “Protect The Beautiful Place”. What an interesting concept to have an audience sit in on what is really a rehearsal to iron out the kinks in the play. They told a riveting story – each of the performer’s voices was captivating. They brought... More

Leaning forward with smile on my face the entire time - and outstanding production! I have seen every interpretation of Jane Auston's novel and this was a truly enjoyable rendition. Each character was spectacular and the production very clever. The venue is intimate and warm. If you are a fan or are curious abou the story it's a must see!

What an intelligent cast...strong and balanced. Mr. Bingley was especially charming. And all of the daughters were well cast. The set had some visually entertaining effects that pull the show together beautifully. Don't miss this top notch adaptation and preduction.

Love this venue. It brings me into a great part of the city to see new and interesting pieces like the recent world premier of Marley, a musical of the man's life. In this small and intimate setting, you are part of the show. And, comfortable seats where you can take your glass of wine!

It was like a school play! I find it difficult to recommend this to anyone. As an education the depiction is poor and the performances not convincing. I have seen many musicals but few have let me down like this. When I go to the theatre I want to be entertained. This show was anything but.

My 4th production at this intimate theater, I drive from Philadelphia and have never been disappointed! The music, story, cast and direction were all first-rate! From the moment you walk in the door, you are in Jamaica! With reggae musicians and dancers playing in the "street" (there are real dirt floors), you are already entertained before the show starts! Mitchell... More

Terrible. If a play is to be written about Bob Marley this is not it. Was it a play with music or a musical? Neither me nor my friends could understand. We should have gone to the movies as planned.
