The name was recently changed by popular request due to the negativity surrounding the name Robert E. Lee. It is now called Lake Roland. They have a dog park (a yearly fee must be paid). The park is well kept. Fishing and canoeing are allowed. There are porta-potties available.

It's a nice park as far as Baltimore standards, kind of an "off the beaten path" park that has become more popular and known than when I was growing up... There's an old train track and some cool trails if you wander around, a little stream and I think it's become a more popular area for the community to bring... More

The park is open from sunup to sundown and the closing time is posted up by the footbridge over the Jones Falls. There are lots of things to do at the park-some planned by the park staff and some to do on your own. Now (March 2015) is a good time to enjoy a walk, jog, or bike ride along... More

Park is perfect for a hike, mountain biking, or walking your dog. Warning...they do ticket if your dog is off its leash. Waterfall, streams, endless paths, 4 entrances (do your homework). Its big enough to see from several areas over several days. Enjoy!

Made a first visit to this park this past weekend. While our dog is not yet old enough to be in the dog park area, it is a very large dog park and gives the dogs a lot of room to run in a long straight line. And there's even a swimming area with entry into the reservoir for the... More

Great hiking trails around a beautiful lake. Top that off with a dog park that your pooch will enjoy and you will have a fun day outdoors. The dog park is safe as they require you to register your dog, and give you a code to enter.
