A gorgeous campus. It is worth a long stroll either as part of a campus visit or as a tag-on to a visit to the Baltimore Museum of Art (BMA), which sits at the south end of the campus. The architecture is a combination of academic colonial (Latrobe, Remsen) and tasteful modern (Garland, Brody). Starting from the BMA, stroll past... More

Top tier university in a neighborhood setting. Lots of energy on campus. Attractive playing fields for their sports teams and rich in history and tradition.

We made a special trip down from southeastern Pennsylvania to walk around the campus with my pre-college app son. Although the campus was completely empty for the holiday we were able find our way around the well ordered campus. Consistently executed in a restrained colonial architecture it is obvious the campus architect has vision and a means to execute a... More

If you have a medical problem or need a complete physical, GO TO JOHNS HOPKINS HOSPITAL. Everyone is a professional. Our Dr spent 75 minutes examining my wife and made her diagnosis which no other Dr could. Extremely pleased with our visit.

Used to be the port but now I think Hopkins has that distinction. The Homewood campus is beautiful and up to date thanks in part Michael Bloomberg's monetary donations. Interesting architecture along the rear twisting hilly road behind the campus. Historic home on campus worth a visit. Excellent medical system with some of the best departments in the world. Hospital... More

What a wonderfully well organized place. As an out of towner, I found staff to be pleasant, informative, and willing to assist when needed. The quality of their medical care and research program is some of the best in the nation, perhaps in the world. The facility is up to date and attractive. They also serve the local population in... It may seem like a cattle call when you go to check in, with scanners and this line and that line. But when you get it the people are great and they seem to care.

My husband has been seeing doctors at Johns Hopkins since before he received his kidney transplant there over 10 years ago. He sees a nephrologist there every 6 months. He has had appointments with a neurologist, a vascular surgeon, a cardiologist, a urologist and most recently a plastic surgeon and an oncologist. We are extremely happy with the service and... JHU gets better and better the more you get to know it. While the medical/science/math programs are well known, every department at Hopkins is impressive. The kids are extremely bright and the nicest that you will meet anywhere. You also get the feeling that everyone from the President Ron Daniels through the entire staff is real and cares about the...
