I wish my neighborhood had something like this. This seems to be a community based art house (in the broad sense of the word) they take anything that can be considered artsy & structure it into / around a program, class and/or event. More

what i've seen there: madagascar harp player, burlesque, shape-note singers, blues, art exhibits, film. Plus they do workshops for the neighborhood. Nice friendly room. They sell drinks but it's fine to bring the kids to most shows. It's clearly a labor of love for the people who are active in running it. Have a pizza at Matthew's across the street,... More
