I really liked this place. The evening we were there they had a cool Irish band playing. I wanted to get out on the floor and do a jig as others were doing. Friendly bar staff and I had a fun time sparring with a bartender over the pronunciation of "Smithwicks". He insisted I say it with a "d" instead... More

My girlfriend and I visited on Valentines Day about 7pm and found the bartender very friendly and the beer very good. We discovered the band didn't appear until 9 so we would have to wait for the live music .The place is tiny and loaded with stuff adorning the walls for atmosphere and the taped music loud. The men's room... More

Visited Fells Point on a sunny & temperate winter Saturday afternoon. The Cat's Eye was a destination in our pub crawl. This rustic waterfront watering hole was crowded in the front, but had ample room in the back areas. The "Nothin' But Trouble" band rocked the mostly 40- and 50-year-old crowd. A very nice selection of beers are offered on... More

Smallish, crowded, super atmosphere, great drinks, good music. You'll want to stay for 'just one more song'. More

Went here over Columbus Day Weekend with 5 Friends. We were self conscious going out as we are in the "over 40" category. This place was SO MUCH FUN. The bartender/owner is 28. He LOVES his JOB. Great Live Music and a varied crowd. For once we were not the oldest!! There was also a very active young crowd too.... More

I love Cat's Eye! They always have a great live band on stage. It can be loud, but you're at a bar to hear music! And if it's too much, go hang out at the back bar where you can still hear the music but not at thumping. There is a nice covered back patio for the smokers of the... More

This is one of my favorite dives in Baltimore. Best bar for live blues bands and they have live music nearly every night of the week. The crowd leans more to the middle age but they are also the folks who have been here for years. Still a pretty local crowd for the touristy vibe that Fells Pt. can be.... More

My girl friend and I had an enjoyable evening at the Cat's Eye Pub, which is well located in the heart of Fell's Point on a street with many similar looking bars. The BIG difference is everyone in this bar has gray hair (if they still have hair at all). But that's a good thing for those of us who... More
