Have been at the Lyric twice to see Il Divo. Love this venue although seats are very close together & there's not much room for moving around. The sound is awesome. Stage is large & all seats give you a great view. There is on street parking, although a parking garage is close & since most people park there, you... More

The lyric is large, the acoustics are great. Seats are a little tight since it is an older venue. You do need a car to get to it if you are staying at the seaport area

My husband and I went to a performance of the Wizard of Oz musical tonight. We were pleasantly surprised by how good it was! Dorothy was excellent, as were all supporting actors. They even trained the dog Toto to behave as he had to sit still on stage quite a few times. The set and special effects were fabulous. I... More

Went to see Daniel Tosh. Convenient location just a few blocks from my house. Easy and quick entrance. Beautiful and clean. No complaints :)

Saw La Boheme here. It's a wonderful venue, parking does cost and you can't take drinks into the theater, be aware! But theater is beautiful!

We went to see an opera, "Nabucco" by Verdi, in an Opera House, who would have thunk it. There is a parking garage across the street for convenience. The area is well lit, so you would feel safe. The hall itself is beautiful as are the acoustics. We enjoyed the opera immensely and would come back for other shows.

Enjoyed Mannheim Steamroller this Christmas at The Lyric! What a magnificent venue and what fun!!! Just beautiful with wonderful acoustics! Not a bad seat in the house. Centrally located in the Mt. Vernon section of B-more and near a "light rail" stop - great parking garage next door.

Went to a concert and really enjoyed the classic decor. Lots of gilt, faux finishes, and deco majesty. Acoustics were very good from our seats and the location was easily accessible.

We were just at the Lyric for the first time in years and were very impressed with the acoustics and video capabilities during the Sarah Brightman Dreamchaser show. It's a beautiful space. The seats are very roomy and comfortable - which is really impressive as my husband is 6'3" so he is always cramped in that type of hall. We... More

I went to see "Dreamchaser" Sarah Brightman on tour, and I was very disappointed with the show. I have been to the Lyric several times and I always leave wondering why they can't do better with the acoustics but this show was so loud and the sound so distorted, it was a waste of my $90.
