I have been to Sherwood Gardens in the Spring for many years. I love the flowers of course, the neighborhood is charming with some interesting houses. Free and relaxing.

Situated in a beautiful neighborhood, this long time Baltimore favorite is an excellent open garden for all. Well maintained, you can even bring a dog along --AS LONG AS YOU CLEAN-UP! Good for walking, smelling and seeing and a picnic can be delightful

When my kids were small, we would go every year. They could run to their hearts content. Now I bring my grandchildren and the fun has not changed. If you don't like tulips and azaleas then this won't be for you.

The tulips are spectacular. If it is warm enough, one might consider a picnic, but an hours walk brisk air is just as nice. Many, many tulips and other spring flowering plants with a lot of open space that youngsters can run and burn off some excess energy after being couped up all winter.

1000s of gorgeous tulips planted in like-colored beds surrounding blooming azalea islands. Visit many times during tulip blooming season - great tradition to take a picnic!

This lace in bloom is incomparable, and after woods you can dig and buy your favorite tulip bulbs. Relatiely short display season.

Sherwood Gardens is quite a surprise. It is between houses in a residential area of Baltimore. It is easy to walk the entire garden. There are different types of flowers and foliage.and benches to sit on.A great place to take an out of town visitor or someone in Baltimore who has not been there. It is quite beautiful at different times of the year

Sherwood Gardens is a great place for a picnic, or to spend the day lounging with a good book. It is a beautiful green space surrounded by large historic houses, within the city limits of Baltimore. In the spring, they have one of the biggest and most beautiful collections of tulips - definitely a must see!

It doesn't matter whether you come to these gardens in the spring or the summer, you will find lovely flower beds! In the spring you can see the tulips blooming or during the summer and it's free!
