Owner description: Baltimore is steeped in a proud and rich nautical tradition. For more than 35 years, the Baltimore Water Taxi's blue and white fleet has proven itself to be an integral part the city's history and culture. In fact, we're as much a part of the city's history as the revitalized Inner Harbor. But the Water Taxi is more than a jaunt across the harbor; it's a Baltimore institution and a way of life. Everyday, thousands of residents and visitors not only rely on us to take them safely to their destinations, they appreciate our knowledge of the area and our courteous service. And everyday, hundreds of local businesses rely on us to deliver customers to their locations. We know the city. We love the city. We keep the city moving. We help keep businesses thriving. And most importantly, we offer the most unique way to see Baltimore and we provide an unforgettable experience that keeps our passengers coming back again and again. Welcome to Baltimore. Welcome aboard!

I have taken this Water Taxi many times in the past few years. It is a scenic way to get from place to place along the Baltimore Harbor, Fells Point, Ft. McHenry, etc. The staff is generally nice and accommodating. Upon boarding and paying for your ticket, you will be given a brochure that contains a series of "coupons" that... More

This is the best way to see Baltimore from the water. The taxi takes you to neighborhoods that only the "insiders" know about. For example, take the taxi to the Canton dock and walk three blocks north to O'Donnell Square, or stop in Fells Point for a history lesson, or Captain James dock for some crabs or eat in their... Our trip to Baltimore would not have been complete without the days pass and ease of transportation with the water taxi. Gives you the rest and calming affect you need from one spot to the next.

The best way to move around the Inner Harbor. Sure you can walk between many of the stops but why not take a boat ride across the harbor and take in the sites? Be sure to buy the one day unlimited pass: it comes with coupons that more than pay for the pass.

A very nice and inexpensive way to travel around Baltimore. Although it is supposed to be a taxi many tourists use it to get a view of the harbor.

Though the Water Taxi operators can be rude as hell, the water taxi is a great way to get around from Inner Harbor, to Fells Point, Canton, Ft McHenry and Tide Point. We use it a couple times per year in nice weather. Get the All day pass. Just don't know why the operators and guys taking the cash are... More

Really nice way to go from the Inner Harbor where we had lunch to Fells point for a spirited coffee. If you have a stroller they make you close it even if baby is asleep : (

Loved the convenience of the Water Taxi Service. Was able to see the entire harbor and visit restaurants that would not have been within walking distance. Very easy to board and disembark at the various stops. Reasonably priced and scenic way to sight see!
