Shawn and Julian were our craftsmen. They teach you step by step how to make a glass item. They do the steps with you. It is really a great time. Shawn is masterful, very smart, a very good instructor, wise beyond his years, and movie-star handsome. They charge you only for the items you make. We all loved it, and... More

Looking for something to do in Baltimore... this activity will blow you away. While visiting my son in the city, my wife and I were looking for something unique to do and ran across this great place. From the time that Shaun (I hope I spelled that right) greeted us, until we had completed our first project, I felt like... More

My husband and I went with a small group and first enjoyed a deelish lunch at the restaurant the McFaddens own next door. When we entered Tim's glass studio afterward, we saw beautiful pieces of many-colored and shaped glass, some of which were for sale and some of which were done by his students. Tim demonstrated glass blowing for us,... More

We came here on a whim after eating next door (Woodberry Kitchen). It's really fascinating. You can buy some of the art or even take a class. I'm going soon myself.

This gentleman is a real artist with glass but the thing that really makes it wonderful are the classes in glass blowing. He makes it really fun to learn. One of the great things is to blow your own Christmas ornament.

This was so much fun and I keep telling all of my friends about it! I can't wait to go back and take my boyfriend with me, and he WANTS to go! I think that whatever you decide to make here, the guys helping you will make sure that it turns out fabulous! I did a drinking glass on my... More

You MUST try this. We loved it. My husband and I had a few hours in Baltimore and came upon this gem on Tripadvisor. We called up and luckily they had some availability. They usually work on reservations, so call beforehand 2 days+ if you know you'll be in the area. We were greeted promptly with a genuine smile. After... More

I stumbled in here by accident, while walking around the city. The staff were working and maybe teaching a class. It was beautiful and interesting. I cannot wait to go back for the full experience next time I am in the city.

Glassblowing at McFadden Studio was an amazing experience. My husband and I went for valentine's day. The owners were very nice. We ran late but they accommodated us with no problem. Tim took his time and walked us through each step giving us little nuggets of information about the tools and the process. We'll definitely be back and next time... More

My husband and I had only ever watched glassblowing--never actually did it..that is until we visited Mcfadden Art Glass! What a great time we had learning how to do this. They had a variety of choices of things to make and very reasonable. The staff was super patient and friendly! We took a tour of the house and not only... More
