Not sure what we expected but the word 'museum' lead us to believe there would be more than what was there. Parking was difficult. The place is very small (2 rooms) with active tattoo studios around the inside. They had some interesting historic pictures and articles but not much more. Everyone was very pleasant. It was OK, just expected more. More

I got my first tattoo here and I have gone back several times. The reviews on this website don't seem to be very accurate, at least not when compared with my experiences. If you are expecting a "museum", you'll be disappointed. However, if you are expecting a tattoo parlor with artists who take pride in their work and are dedicated... More

Pretentious, Rude, Condescending? Sure! I've never met a tattoo artist who isn't. They take what they do very seriously. Their ink will be with a customer until they die and that's alot of pressure. Do you realize how popular tattoos have become over the last 15 years? I'd say the body modification business as at least tripled, probably more. I'm... More

I am not sure what Tattoo Museum you are going to to but the reviews I have read are not the place I know. I have been having work done there of four plus years. I have work from the flash on the wall to a custom arm piece. All work is very good with very fine detail. As of... More

I have had a tattoo from them, my first, and my last (at least from THEM). The guy that did the artwork was great, nice personality, talkative..yet his work was nothing to be happy about! I asked for a simple ankle tattoo with some detail. He told me he could not do it in detail..that is was to hard. I... More

Well my review is basicly the same. I do not normaly participate in such stuff but as a Tattoo artist myself (not greasy, not male, and not a snob" as sterotyped in previous review. The guys well they are Tattooist. Not customer service reps and or Walmart please everybody employees. They tattoo. They are good! As well as overpriced, infiltrated... More

Stumbled across the Baltimore Tattoo Museum by accident when I was after a new addition to my tattoo collection, these gathered from various places round the world. Yes the staff are sarcastic and take the **** a lot, they don't care if you get one or not and I've seen at least two people asked to leave the shop due... More

I teach a college level course downtown Baltimore and students come from all over for a short period of 3weeks. Being a tattoo lover, I mentioned to them that there is a "Tattoo Museum" downtown. Due to this fast turn around of students I have turned every class onto the place in a great effort to get a good unbiased... More
