My two daughters and I loved the Urban Pirates tour. To be honest I was a littled concerned whether the daughters would like it or if it was boy oriented, but needless to say they are still talking about it and want to go again. Certainly the highlight of our trip to Baltimore!!! more

These 3 Moms apparently stole the pirate ship idea from Chesapeake Pirates in Annapolis. They tried to do every single thing the same, including the shooting of the cannons. The only problem is they just didn't do it as well. Maybe it just takes time. I definitely found the staff at Chesapeake Pirates to be more engaging. I took a... more

Took my 7 year old & her 72 year old grandfather out for an hour cruise on Father's Day. Free for dads - thanks, Urban Pirates! We all really enjoyed it. The crew did a great job with the kids (and their parents), keeping them engaged & active for the whole time. And yes the water cannons were the highlight,... more

I couldn't disagree more with the above review. Perhaps the difference is that he took his kids, and I went with my friends on one of the adult "bring your own grog" cruises? Not much time for drinking because of all the activities, but we had a blast. There was a dance-off, a limbo contest, and of course who can... more

I've enjoyed cruising along on the Fearless on two separate occasions, once with my kids (5 and 3) and once with just adults. I really can't say which was more fun....they were both a blast! My kids really enjoyed getting tattoos, blasting the "bad pirate" with water cannons, story time, and most of all, getting a piece from the treasure... more

My friend and I took the Urban Pirates cruise without kids with us - and found it to be great fun! We enjoyed the entire adventure and joined in the fun with the other families and kids on board. We got caught up in the merriment and danced and sang with the pirates and crew and other ship visitors. This... more

This was our second voyage on the Fearless, the ship run by Urban Pirates, and it was more fun the second time around. Our kids (8 and 4) had a blast on this trip and are still talking about it. From the interactive storytime, to the pirate dress-up, to blasting the water cannons into the face of the attacking pirates... more

My kids (ages 5, 4 & 2) attended 2 b-day parties on the Urban Pirates and they couldn't get enough. I dressed them in pirate costumes (you can wear your own or borrow costumes they provide) and they had an absolute ball. The "pirates" who work on board the ship lead them thru stories, songs and dances. They shoot the... more

What an AWESOME attrraction! I had a blast aboard this pirate ship, literally, blasting water cannons at attacking pirates! From the beginning to end I was entertained, we danced and sang and enjoyed every bit of this fun adventure, and on top of all of the action it was a beautiful cruise and I loved seeing Baltimore from the water.... more

I had a great time with my three kids (aged 7, 5, and 2) at Privateer Day 2009 due to the wonderful activities supported by the Urban Pirates crew. The storytime on the square was fun, the treasure hunt was entertaining (very cute goody bags with awesome headbands), and the music was fantastic. They had a delicious cake (Ace of... more
