It was fine. Just nothing special.

Its a typical race course. Not super amazing but not terrible either. I would go there again, but I wouldn't go out of my way to make it happen.

Ok the track is old but the staff we encountered made you feel like an old friend. We had a really enjoyable day at the track.

I went to Pimlico during Preakness, so I did not necessarily get the real experience. I will say, it is a nice race track, but when I went their were too many people.

The history is a huge draw. The Preakness is in a world by itself. If only wish the race course was in a better neighborhood where you could park and feel safe.

A lot of people think this place is run down and old and in a bad neighborhood. Many of them are right, but to me it is a little gem. I grew up going here with my Dad, was a teller here one year, and love the people and the charm that it brings. Not all great things come in... More

Maybe I expected more since it was my first visit in more than a decade. The place is due for an overhaul.

The track isn't located in the best area. I've been there recently for a wine festival (and oh, there was racing going on at the same time) and for the Preakness. I feel like the management tries but are fighting an uphill battle. Parking not an issue for the festival but I feel like transportation/parking ect could have been addressed... More

This was my first trip to Pimlico. The fact that its part of the Triple Crown made me think I was going to go to a really nice track. It sits in a very run down neighborhood, and the facility is very run down. It doesn't look like it's been updated since in 50 years. A big disappointment.

So you'll have a touch decision to make. Partake is one of the biggest parties ever in the infield and have no idea what's going on with the races or stick to the grandstands for a day with the horses. It really depends on how into horse racing you are. If very little then the infield is for you, if... More

Been attending every year for 10 years straight. Recommend the VIP parking for Preakness day - well worth the cost. The only thing missing this year was I could not have access outside to watch the stealth flyby in the area I watched it the prior years.
