Redeemed a year-long membership from livingsocial today and had a great first-time visit. Had lunch across the courtyard at joe squared pizza which was a great, quick bite before heading to PD. Wasn't busy at all on Sunday afternoon and got a small locker for the diaper bag, after a quick change, for $1 which we picked up on the... More

This place was great for kids. The overhanging rope bridge was scary cuz the kids could exit off anywhere. If you were on teh first floor and they decided to jump off on second, it was nuts. The parking was city parking, less than desired. It was a but run down. ALOT of school children. We left and came back... More

I took my five year old granddaughter this summer and she had a blast! It's a really big place with lots of themed areas and lots of visitors. Everyone gets an ID bracelet when they enter so that children cannot leave without the group they came in with (security). I was glad about this because she moved through the rooms... More

We took our 18 month son while we were visiting and what a great place! There is so much to see and explore in the 3 floors worth of activities. The museum is set up with a large gross motor jungle gym in the center of the building with nets, rops, slides, mats, rock walls, tunnels, etc. Along the parameter... More

We really liked it! It was fairly well maintained. The staff was engaging. Some of the displays were a little confusing though. Our 8 yr old REALLY enjoyed it. If you have small kids and some time to kill, I would definitely recommend a visit. And one of the best parts was the Leinenkeugel Beer Garden right outside...lol.

I took my three daughters ages 3, 6, and 10 here. It cost us nearly $60 to get in, but the museum listed many activities that my girls were excited to check out so we forked over the cash for what they claim is one of the top 5 children's museums in the country. Well, we were very disappointed! All... More

Thank you for taking time to review your visit to Port Discovery Children's Museum. We are sorry that there were some aspects of exhibits that were not working during your visit. The spouts in the Plumber’s Park section of Wonders of Water are labeled with colors so that one of the pair has a lot water pressure so that pipes... More

I took my 5-yr old nephew and his favorite parts of the museum were the water exhibit (esp. plumber park and bubble hoop), steering the loading & unloading of crates, soccer field and the 3.5 story climbing structure in the middle of the museum. The center is fun for kids but kinda boring for adults. As a guardian (also for... More

Port Discovery is a wonderful place for children ages 18 months to about age 8 with many different activities. My three year old grandson particularly loved the diner area where he could "cook" and serve" food. He asked to go to that section as soon as he got to the museum. The 18 month old loved the separate play area... More

Went with 4 & 7 year old kids. There was tons to do with activities geared toward different age groups. Urban treehouse in the middle was tons of fun, but be careful, kids can get off and on on different floors of the museum!

This museum is great! 3 floors of hands on/interactive exhibits. My 2 - 2.5 year olds had such a great time. Love the Diner! - Kids get to "cook" and serve food in a diner style setting. The Sesame exhibit was lots of fun. We will be coming back!
