Missed the part that said "Children's"

It is only for children up to 11, along w/a playful parent/aunt/uncle/etc. No extra adults "need apply."

My grandkids love it here. Great place to learn and play at the same time. Climb, play restaurant, story telling, mystery and so much more.

It was fun for adult too but I still think is more fun for kids. We climbed the "tunnel" all the way to top. It was fun. Tons of things to do for kids. It's great when Baltimore too cold to play outside.

If you go on dollar days be prepared to stand in line for hours. I have taken my children several times on dollar days and other times. They love it. Though I feel as though the attractions need some updates and maintenance. I have taken kids from ages 3 to 21 and they all love it especially the 3 story... More

I have been to Port Discovery about five times since my first son is born. Given that the D.C. area does not have a really good children's museum (at the moment they don't have one at all), Port Discovery has always been our go to Children's Museum. I have loved this place. Great exhibits, appeals to wide range of ages,... More

Thank you for taking time to review your experience at Port Discovery Children's Museum, we're glad that you and your family always have a great time! Many of our beloved exhibits, including Adventure Expeditions and Miss P's, have been around since the opening of the museum in 1998. I actually went to an evening event held there. The attraction is wonderful, and even though it was all adults at the event, it still had activities everyone could enjoy. I imagine children would love it too! :D

Great for kids and kids at heart. But the parking is horrible and super expensive. Just plan to spend $25 to park and one arm and one leg for the food.

This is a great place to take kids from 2 to 14. Lots of interactive activities and a huge 3 story "kid works" which is a combination of tunnels, climbing and other activities.

This is a great place to take kids from ages 3 to 9. Very interactive and engaging for the kids. From imagining being in a grocery store shopping to playing in the biggest indoor playground I have ever seen. My favorite part is that it is both mentally and physically engaging. The only complaint that I would have is that... More

I used to enjoy taking my girls here. Now, I find these places don't hold their interest. Port Discovery is like a lot of science museums around the country. Great for children into mid-elementary school, say age 8. My 10 and 12 year old found Port Discovery held their interest for about an hour, not enough to justify entry fee.
