Most of the exhibits were dirty or missing parts/pieces. I have four children, 6 months to nine years, and we had a hard time filling two hours. The soccer field and play place were great for getting out energy. We have been to three science centers in three different states over the last couple of weeks (Hands On in Ann... More

Our kids love to go here. Plan to spend at least 2 hours or more. So many exhibits for children to do. Worth a trip!

The kids get a bracelet on admission and only the parent can leave with them so if your kids are older or more independent you can grab a chair and relax while they play. Plenty to do. We usually can spend 2 to 3 hours here. Parking lot adjacent to the building but can get expensive.

We visited Port Discovery on a recent weekday with my 4 year old and 3 year old. It's a really well done children's museum, with lots of different spaces for imaginative free play. My kids had a terrific time, particularly loving the "diner", the waterworks room, and the "oasis", a smaller, quieter room with lots of books and comfy cushions.... More

There's a Lego exhibit at Port Discovery right now, and as an art project you can make Lego soap. Our instructor, Aaliyah, was fabulous. She handled the large group of small children easily. The project was fun and easy to complete. The rest of the museum is also exciting. If you have young kids, I recommend a membership, which will... More

I took my niece and nephew here (ages 2 & 5) and we all loved it. There is so much for the kids to do! We were there for hours! Totally worth the $. My only recommendation would be to get a snack bar or something. I highly recommend taking your young kids there!

And that's all that matters, from the climbing thing right when you walk in to making their own lego soap, the Egyptian exhibit and the mystery machine or whatever it was called they had a great time. Would go again and we have three younger grandchildren so chances are we will be back, Also nice to see that your wristbands... More

We stumbled upon this place looking for lunch and weren't disappointed. There is a wide range of activities for all ages. Our daughter made soap, checked out a Lego castle exhibit, but really spent most of her time climbing through the amazing structure in the middle of the building. There are well designed activities for toddlers through middle school children.... More

I took my 8 year old grandson for the day and it was a fun day. Lots of climbing, running, creative play with a life sized grocery store, a life size car with a gas pump, soap making, and a huge climbing structure. I found parKing with parkingpanda.com. So I was able to purchase my parking $14.00/day a block from... More

We found the Discovery Museum on our recent trip and its a great place to go if you have younger children. Our teens were happy to indulge their younger brother but not much for older kids to do. It is s great place and would recommend to families with kids 10 and under.
